I actually did the same thing on my first run, though I think I killed a froggit instead. Though fortunately for me, the game decided to start fucking up around Snowdin, so I ended up wiping my save and starting over anyways. :v:

Mashups only work if the songs are in the same key, similar structure, or when its vocals over an instrumental.
You cant just tempo sync two songs and press play come on now. It'll sound just like two songs being played at the same time.

Indeed, can't just merge X Gon' Give It To Ya with Megalovania and call it a day. Although it's a little easier if the two songs were at a similar tempo to begin with.

Come to think of it, would it be feasible to "mashup" Heartache with Clockwork Angels by Rush? I dunno if it's just me, but the two seem to have similar tempos when I think about 'em.
