You get the call if you reach the barrier, tell Asgore you have stuff to take care of and back track to MTT resort.

Also polarbear, what I meant by the save file red text was something that's exclusive to genocide run, and only applied to save [I]points[/I], not save files

just fought undyne, i managed to bail after awhile lol.
Those scenes when she discovered me and started throwing spears at me randomly were pretty tense. honestly that whole area where undyne lives was really stunning. Damn, im loving this game

also pls tell me you can date undyne, the same way you could date papyrus? im having a hard time imagining a ''date'' with her, tho :v:

If you used the water cooler on her, and haven't killed any monsters, then yes. Her house is in the area around Napstablook's house

yeah idk if I really like how this straight up ruins your chance for a true pacifist run. this happens right after a segment where you're running like fuck from Undyne, so I'm sure some people just kept on running without paying much attention to the water cooler. idk I think it would've been better if there was an extra step you then had to do if you didn't give her the water, as opposed to just 'better luck next time'... but ofc at the same time that water cooler did stick out like a sore thumb

Yeah, as obvious as it was that you had to give her the water (Her exclaiming that it's so hot and fainting, Checking on her tells you she seems dry, and the Cooler contrasting so hard with the environment) I don't think it had to be so punishing.

It's not like you killed her.

I suppose it makes some sense, considering the same happens if you choose not to save Monster kid [sp]He refuses to talk to you if you find him again[/sp], but making friends with him isn't really that important

He's hamming it up like a fucker but really neutral first is a good way to go. All main runs reward in their own way.

Don't worry.

[sp]You always get neutral your first time through, but don't worry, if you did full pacifist up to the end you won't need to do a full playthrough again. It'll make sense when you get there[/sp]

I think that if there's 3 major criticisms that I would give to Undertale, it would be:
- The water cooler
- Having to figure out to spare Toriel and to a lesser extent Undyne.
- The fact that fucking up a simple command in the penultimate "boss" in the Genocide route can fuck up the entire several hour run.

This only happens if you don't grind the area completely. You cannot fuck up the penultimate boss.

I feel like she needs to have a stronger emphasis on leaning forward instead of back like yours. Alphys comes across more like a dinosaur and it feels right to me when some of those gait traits are kept.
