you need to invest a great many hours and beat the whole true game before you learn who he is. His is meant to be the most dramatic reveal in the game, during its most tense moment. it's built up to for nearly the entirety of the game.

It's been so inconsistent on what should be hidden or not that I sometimes get thrown out of the loop (don't worry, I know that [sp]---Asriel---[/sp] should be hidden) :ohno:
i.e. Half the people don't hide [sp]--Frisk--[/sp] and the other people do

People should just say "the protagonist" because nobody will be confused.
[sp]On the Frisk part, though, I feel like it doesn't need to be hidden unless someone says to "hide the spoiler", in which case someone who doesn't know might understand what's going on. I knew the name Frisk before I started the game and it still surprised me. I thought Frisk was just the canon name Toby Fox chose.[/sp]
Gotta say, though. My experience was greatly enhanced by the fact that I named the fallen child Bort.

I thought the "Jerry." message was a normal confirmation message.

I'm amazed how fast people have been saying "It's been X amount of time can we post spoilers now?"
It hasn't even been four months yet and the game is still selling fuckloads.
