I started to play this game this week because everywhere I looked someone kept raving about it. I tried to stay away from the hype and my first unfinished "messed up" run was almost ruined by it. [sp]During my first run I did a mix of lethal and non-lethal approach. I feel the game doesn't shine then as much as going purely pacifist.[/sp]

I'm wondering how that managed to be buggy. I've been able to save screen captures of games made in the same engine with no issues whatsoever. My only suspicion is that he couldn't consistently get an appropriate directory to save them to or the conventions he was employing caused overlaps in filenames.
Or maybe he was attempting to generate a specialized image that makes it look like an essay that a student would turn in, complete with name at the top and a grade out of 100 or maybe a sticker based on Mettaton's appraisal. But that could be simulated and pieced together outside of the view port to construct a "screen" shot. I could understand it being a bit finicky if he was doing this, since it can be a little tricky to do correctly.

It personifies the character by making it apparent that he's keeping the essay around as a memento.
