Not to mention the music that plays. It's a really powerful song. I listened to it before I played Undertale and I thought it was really nice back then, but now I've seen what's attached to it I just can't help but start tearing up.
2:49, that's where it starts hurting
Undertale is one of the themes that always turns me into a a big ball of emotional mush whenever I hear it, the others being [sp] Hopes and Dreams, SAVE the world and His Theme [/sp] It's actually pretty hard for me to listen to that last one for reasons that should be obvious.
I'm a very sensitive person over all, but Undertale is the only game that has got me crying.
I'm a very sensitive person over all, but Undertale is the only game that has got me crying.
I think I mentioned how to me, only Max Payne 2 and Telltale's TWD Season 2 got me crying as well. And they all have a certain thing in common, something which most emotionally impactful stories do. Decent or good people have really bad times with goals that might not even pay off in a satisfying manner in-universe. [sp]Mona gets shot dead By Vlad after all she and Max had gone through, Clementine has changed far more than a child of her age should need to, and The Child, in the neutral ending, leaves the mountain's lovably friendly monsters in the same seclusion they had been for a long time already... unless The Player takes Flowey's advice and tries again.[/sp]
Screw [sp]flowey[/sp], honestly I think the most fucked up battle in the game is [sp]So Cold[/sp]
I noticed that everything that makes me sad in this game somehow always leads back to [sp] Asriel. [/sp]
so I finally got around to buying the game and i've just [sp]Gone on a date with Papyrus. Good lord, my sides.[/sp] Also, how to get the [sp]True ending? Do I need to get a neutral ending first?[/sp]

I think the one think that suddenly ripped me out of the moment in Undertale was when [sp]hopes and dreams during the final pacifist run doesn't loop correctly.[/sp] I wouldn't say it ruined the moment for me, but just took me out of it for a second, because it felt weird having it suddenly stop with a guitar note and then right into the beginning violin.
Playing Touhous years ago paid off, I aced both [sp]Asgore and Omega Flowey[/sp] on my first try :dogcited: [sp]Flowey looks hard as fuck when others fight him, but he's actually kinda easy, easier than Asgore for sure[/sp] Time to [sp]date a big nerd![/sp]
I feel I draw way too little Undertale stuff than I should. I'm considering making a comic about these two. [thumb]http://oi68.tinypic.com/j73p0l.jpg[/thumb]

Asgore, on the other hand, was more difficult.[/sp]
Didn't see this posted yet: Animated by Everdraed, the guy behind [sp]Photoshop\Omega Flowey's design.[/sp] [editline]13th January 2016[/editline] Might include very slight spoilers maybe? Not sure.

idk how this kind of content is reacted to here, but one of my friends showed me this and I just had to show you guys: On topic, I now realize I've always had the stick, but just haven't found any other weapon to replace it with so I could actually use the stick :v:
A few of them were sold in the shops, though a couple of the others were scattered throughout the "overworld". However when going Pacifist you probably won't use most of them, though there are a few weapons that give special non-ATK oriented perks while equipped, like one of them increases the healing factor of items, and another gives you more invincibility frames.
Also, how to get the [sp]True ending? Do I need to get a neutral ending first?[/sp]
[sp]You need to date Undyne, Alphys and Papyrus. You can do it in a seperate save or after neutral ending, if you're going full Pacifist of course. There's always Undertale Wiki where you can check what you're supposed to do to get the ending.[/sp]
Y'know, this is a thought that has probably crossed our minds a lot but... (Neutral Spoilers incoming?) [sp]If Asgore absorbed the six souls during his fight, how would the resultant Omega Asgore fight pan out?[/sp]
A lot harder, presumably
He seems like the kind of guy that'd rather keep the fight fairer than that.
He seems like the kind of guy that'd rather keep the fight fairer than that.
Asgore "Spike the Tike" Dreemurr, fairer?
Six souls Asgore for genocide hard mode boss please and ty pacifist spoilers source
Heh grumpy Toriel
I like to think that, at least one time, he would have had to use the souls, or avoid holding back. For instance, when the 7th(?) human fell down. Call me crazy, but I've got a feeling that not all of the fallen humans were kids. I have a feeling that the 7th human was probably some sort of "Desert Ranger" type, what with the gun and hat and all, perhaps even being on the trail of a missing persons case. And when he faced the king, Asgore might have had to give it his all just to survive against the gunslinger, perhaps even using the power of the human souls. Total speculation, mind you. I kinda wanna know more about the other fallen humans between [sp]Chara and Frisk[/sp] as there's a good amount of potential story there. Hell, even adding additional flavour text to items would help flesh them out.
pacifist spoilers
When I got into the end of the image... Feels.
When I got into the end of the image... Feels.
Monster kid is getting strangled to death
Monster kid is getting strangled to death
They don't seem to care, though.
They don't seem to care, though.
That's even more depressing
Just finished the pacifist run. Got a bit teary-eyed at the end. The game definitely grew on me. The story and music are amazing. I know it's not about the grapchics but the art style could use some more love. Either go a bit more complex or simpler. The current art style has a very cheap feel to it. Right now doing the Genocide run. [sp]Got stuck on Undyne. This version is way tougher and kicking my ass.[/sp]
