Pulling a bunch of big words out of a thesis and getting around the problem. Synthetic soul? A substitute of some kind? To my knowledge, the nature of the soul in Undertale is fairly ambiguous. The game tells nothing about how they function, what they're made of, if they're made of matter, or energy, like photons, and so on and so forth. So correct me if I'm wrong, but nothing stated in-game rules out the possibility that SOMETHING, or anything really, could be done about Flowey's condition. I realize that ambiguity isn't much to go on, but it's a chance. A gamble in which we would have everything to gain and nothing to lose.[/sp]
