Handy!
Recently bought this game and I'm really enjoying it. That said, my scope of experimentation hasn't branched much further than engines, I still need a lot of practice with the suspension. I must say, it's incredibly fun to create a car, then two different engines (EG 2.0 4Cyl Turbo vs 3.0 Straight 6 NA) and drop them in that one car and see how the track performance changes. Sort of like the old german method (E46, larger NA) vs Japanese (smaller, but turbo).

I've actually been waiting for a game like this for quite some time. It's fun to start tuning and just get lost in it for an hour or two, and also pretty informative. Nice work so far!
It's really amazing how creative people get with the relatively few parts that they have so far. The same car body can look completely different dressed up differently. (Not so much the rear as the front on this one) [t]http://s30.postimg.org/ts0nfdcsh/Lince.jpg[/t] [t]http://s28.postimg.org/5khwgbkkt/Mid.jpg[/t] Also, new bodies keep coming in as mods through the workshop.
For anyone still playing this: Can anyone explain why all grilles, vents and some lights decides to fucking vanish, once i move on to the next step, despite having saved several times? [t]http://i.imgur.com/KXO9tTe.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/TMKgSce.jpg[/t]
Oh, a quick reminder for anyone who didn't know this already - They're actually planning to switch to Unreal Engine 4. This was posted in the on the fourth of April, on their facebook page. Still waiting for a sale. Don't think that's gonna be any time soon.
This game looks interesting, I've been looking for a car tycoon game for some time like this. Can someone tell me how it is?
This game looks interesting, I've been looking for a car tycoon game for some time like this. There's currently only sandbox, scenarios and tutorials to play around with.
V12 engines are out on the beta branch, if anyone should care.
no turbos though ;_;
Twin- or quad-turbo sure would be nice.
On that note, actually:
Next Big Update Features: Engineering Tab & Engineers Factory Tab & Production Setup Spaceframe Chassis V12 Turbos

[t]http://i.imgur.com/QxrPRkt.jpg?1[/t] God damn, i broke my best time with almost ten seconds.
Turbo time [t]http://i.imgur.com/cW8NOTx.png[/t] Now if only i had something to fit this insanity into [editline]8th March 2016[/editline] Word of warning, the open beta is buggy as a motherfucker ...
The turbos turn the v12s into fucking monsters. I love it.
The turbos turn the v12s into fucking monsters. I love it.
Quad turbos would be pretty fucking baller
twincharged engines would be better tho' (both turbo and supercharged enines)
I do wish Automation stuck with being a car and engine designer though, I couldn't give a shit less about the tycoon stuff.
the tycoon part is quite an important part for me, without it I just end up making ridiculous high horsepower engines and then dropping the game again after 20 minutes.

Have a campaign/tycoon mode and a "free-roam" mode where you can go crazy and build without restrictions.
Gettin' closer to the unreal engine
Looks like going to the unreal engine might have been the best thing these guys have done in a long while, and hopefully, they'll be able to push content a little faster now.
