They've attempted it. It didn't work, and they had other more important issues at hand at the time.
People agreed not to intentionally abuse exploits when signing up. :v:

They said they were working on it and gave a warning to stop, anyone doing that after deserves whatever's coming.

Is it really that difficult to fix? I've never heard of a situation in a game where a minor bug like this has taken more than a couple days to fix.
Though you are right, I shouldn't support the act of doing it. But it is [I]still [/I]Blizzard's fault, as well as the player who abuses it.
I did the glitch on accident like day two of Lucio Ball.
Only accidentally killed one person too, I actually tried really hard not to.

Except that abusing exploits is against the EULA. It's pretty common knowledge not to abuse exploits so don't act like you have to be told that playing anyone other than Lucio in [b]Lucio[/b] Ball is against the rules.

He does piss-all damage, and even his ult is fairly disappointing
I like using Winston mostly on attack in Temple of Anubis or Route 66, there is something in those maps that makes him really shine.

Yeah I once went an entire round of R66 as Winston without dying, was pretty fun. Every other time I've played him though I've felt like a waste of space; I don't really see why I should pick him over the other tanks.

Should be made obvious on the launcher/splashscreen IMO, I doubt most players even know that the battle.net forums exist
