Taking paths that people wouldn't expect would work with the riptire if people didn't have ears and there wasn't directional sound, but there is so good luck with that
If I see more than one person die to a riptire I just shake my head and sigh
I think they should make an adjustment to torbs build rate/repair rate.
I think perhaps what needs adjusting is the sheer fucking accuracy/rate of lockon with torbs turret.
If that shit sees you for a -split second- through the gap in two hallways it's locked on and shooting. It's kind of over the top in some cases.
Rip Tire is a bit more useful when it you use it to fuck with your enemies. Prolong the detonation and make your enemies worry, even if it means only taking out one enemy. Defense hero ultimates are meant for area denial and team disruption.
If you kill a flanker, it's even better for you, as you can continue your job of harassing the enemy without being harassed.

Having something be underpowered in the hands of an unskilled player is significantly less destructive to the game than having it be overpowered when used by a skilled player
I think they should make an adjustment to torbs build rate/repair rate.
This
Most of the time I build my turret to level 2 then i stop bothering with it since the repair rate is atrociously slow and small so any amount of damage outweighs the repair. I'd rather get scrap and rebuild somwhere else than bother repairing the turret that gets destroyed in half a second anyway
I think they should buff Torb himself and not just the turret
Edit: He should be able to run underneath his opponents to confuse them

I disagree. It makes great counters to genji's / tracers and other fast characters. It's what makes him so appealing as well, essentially giving you and your team an extra pair of aimbot eyes.

Why not make him build tunnels in the ground to travel underneath the map

He should have a special skill that lets him kick the shin of anyone, making them stunned while going "OWOWOWOWOWOW"
buff bastions smg and make him transform faster (at least out of turret mode)
Oh god damn it.
Someone just pointed out that the 3 menu heroes possibly represent the recent olympic venues.
London - Tracer
Sochi - Zarya
Rio - Lucio

His transform out of turret mode is only half a second.
His transform out of turret mode is only half a second.
There;s a huge delay to where you can actually get out of turret mode and start moving. Honestly they should make it so you can move while transforming out of sentry mode
Which heroes straight up hard/soft counters Genji and Tracer?
I feel like they meant for Torbjorn or even Bastion to do this, but those characters are redundant in every other situation unless your team is for some reason actually struggling against a tiny dwarf and his turret

Right now, not much. People say McCree but a headshot takes Tracer down to 10hp (so she can just recall) and all genji needs to do is reflect as soon as the stun is over and he can usually escape, maybe even kill him.
Winston can tickle them a little before they use their mobility to get away and heal up.
I'd say Junkrat and Hanzo are the most annoying when I play Tracer. So many times a stray mine or arrow has killed me instantly. Also Roadhog, though most seem to miss their hooks.

for defense maps, a turret will instantly lock on to tracer should she try to backline harass, forcing her to recall or blink to safety. on KOTH it's a bit different, I would use Mei or Roadhog and disable her that way.
But whenever I'm up against a Genji tryhard-main I always go Winston and dedicate all my time to being the biggest pain of his ass. If he dashes away, jump after him. If he ults, ult aswell and knock him away from your teammates.

Bastion is countered by Tracer or Genji, so he shouldn't be used. Torbjörn can be quite good if only his turret wasn't destroyed by just looking at it.
Genji doesn't really have a hard counter, you can try Winston though, he works pretty good against bad/mediocre Genjis. If the other team has a Reaper you are fucked though.
For Tracer you can try McCree, since a flashbang + headshot kills her instantly (Mei's icicle does too, it is quite hard to hit though). In my experience, Junkrat works also pretty great in small spaces against Tracer.

That and they're without a doubt the most athletic characters of the roster anyways.

soldier 76 is the only hero in the game capable of jogging

Yeah, but Morrison is also completely jacked up on controversial Hero Juice or whatever. He's a modified soldier.

So he's like Captain Murica?
I'd really like it if you could avoid players again. Muting and blocking "ez" cunts just doesn't do it for me.
You can very quickly end up with a very shitty one-sided mechanic if you buff it that way, I would rather just have them make the risk of using it a bit lower.
Reduce the initial animation, or let you throw it, that gives it more use-cases and reduces the time you spend controlling the wheel.
Don't think it's really that big a buff compared to uping the speed or health. It'd mostly just up the skill ceiling by allowing you to plan a little smarter, rather just encouraging the meta of using it from a corner 20 feet away which seems to mostly be a work around for how everyone knows how to counter it.
I've noticed in competitive that if you ask people to change hero they generally will, unless they're a sniper in which case they'll be really stubborn and assure you it's okay :(
My idea for Torb buff:
Faster build rate / repair rate. Give him 65 repair per smack (currently 50) and maybe a 10% faster smack speed. Torb's should never turtle like a TF2 engie. However right now it's impossible to sustain your gun in tense situations where you do need to fall back and retreat. And since armor is crucial for torbjorn, having the scrap forces him away from his gun to collect which is a good way to prevent turtling.
Armor Absorbing / Armor Icon: Instead of having to pick up armor the armor automatically absorbs to the current player, kind of like how scrap works when Torb picks it up. A lot of the times I'll place armor down and people won't see it and won't pick it up. This way it forces armor onto the person kind of like how symmetra can give you shields. Armor can now be seen by all players with an icon and is absorbed so they don't have to actually touch it to get it.
Molten Core: Instead of placing a level 1 gun, you can place a level 2 gun and upgrade it to level 3. Right now molten core can be useless if he doesn't have his gun built up already, and trying to get the level 1 gun up is near impossible with a lot of pressure. Being able to build straight to level 2 can change the game completely.
Lastly, I think he should have 21 shots instead of 18.
I think Torb and Bastion can be very good game changing heros if they make them more useful and support-y heros.
I think the funniest thing about overwatch is that Mei needs a buff despite all the "rage" she causes.
She's a total joke character and if I see one in comp that team is practically guaranteed to lose. Few high level PC players I've talked to also agree that she's just flat out bad. She's good at annoying the fuck out of people but that's about it.

Symmetra is an even worse Mei, just replace the ice-wall with dinky lasers that don't do much if you're aware of all the placement spots and check doorways these days
i still want to punch whoever thought mei should have hanzo's bow for her m2.
Did you ever tried to shoot someone with icicle after hitbox nerf?
The thing is so tiny they should rename it to "Needle Shot".
I think what I love most about overwatch more than any other game is that I think with the exception of Symmetra and Winston I have seen a post on a forum dedicated to demanding nerfs for every character

I know people are gonna be vehemently against this but she needs to freeze people faster. Freezing a character with good mobility like Genji or Tracer is way too hard.
Every single game there's a Widow on Attack who barely does anything.
