What role would "sombra" even have in the game?

Some sort of recon class? Goes with the invisibility theme and the "She who has the information, has the power".

I'd love if Doomfist was just a slow as fuck hero with a huge skill ceiling.
Maybe his ult is just a flat-out 1 hit punch with an explosion that he -launches into- or something ridiculous.
There's more than enough dialogue/information about him in the games the indicate he's a point of interest. from his gauntlet in the short. to the voice lines from reaper. and the shadowed depiction of the 3rd barer of the fist.
Finally got this after getting two legendaries on the crate before.

I was so mad this game, enemy team just babysitting Genji entire game, however my ult was up so quickly it made me push the payload till we had overtime and my ult came up quickly again and totally destroyed enemy team with it.

Second time trying compet yesterday, Watchpoint: Gibraltar on defense, nearly get the payload to the first checkpoint before getting our asses kicked by a torbjorn and bastion with a reinhardt shielding the bastion. I feel like that's probably really easy to counter and me and my friends just suck.
oh and my first time playing compet my internet shit after we won the first round and i got disconnected :|

My idea for Doomfist was a transform-into-melee ult like Genji but with punches that had wind-up that did 180-ish damage, knockback and damage upon being knocked into walls.
Also Reaper has a Doomfist voiceline?

That's The Successor who was defeated by Winston. So don't expect to see him taking the mantle yet again, if anything it'll just be a skin.

I thought the scourge was the one beaten by Winston, as he's the blatantly uh. "Bad" barer of the first.

All of them were defeated and we don't know about their affiliations or if any of them are even still alive. The scrambled name and blackened silhouette makes it seem so at least.
More big guys in armor is entirely fine by me, especially if they're particularly spiky.

The image above from the cinematic trailer shows that that particular gauntlet belonged to the spiky dude.
Also apparently at least one of the other Doomfists is still running around and terrorizing Numbani, so that's probably the Scourge guy. Then it suddenly makes sense that'd be the Doomfist we'd get in the roster.
I wouldn't mind if the new Doomfist is some sort of fuckhuge buff Omnic that's all about honor in battle or something, kinda like an antithesis to Zenyatta.
It would make for some interesting conversations between the two.

Make that four.
I'm done with competitive for this season, I just went from rank 50 down to 46 because of this shit. And the games I do win I only go half a rank up. I'm seriously pissed at the system blizzard has in place for this they should reward us for even FINISHING games considering the state of the servers lately.
I don't want to deal with sub 50 ranks again. It's impossible to win.

His weapon is a double barreled shotgun, his ultimate is the berserk pack. You can't crouch, jump or aim vertically.

I'm just a bit puzzled because the gauntlet Winston returned with for the exhibit points to the silhouette of the big spiky Successor guy.

Unless the posters are inaccurate. After all, the gauntlet shown doesn't look like any of the ones from the poster, though it does have a shiny gold-ish metal like the Successsor one, yet again.
