Theory time: Overwatch shorts usually take place on actual maps and the upcoming Bastion short seems to feature a forest. Also one month ago dataminers found some Reinhardt voicelines which hints to a German map (Currywurst, Oktober Fest and Lederhosen anyone?). Maybe the new short takes place in Schwarzwald/Black Forest and Blizzard is going to announce the new map at Gamescom (Which happens to take place in Germany).
Question about Gold Weapons- Are they per-skin or per-hero? For example, if I get Genji's Carbon Fibre gold, will it only apply to Carbon Fibre or will it work on Genji's other skins.
They really need to do something about joining games that are just about to lose Like you should get all the experience from the guy who left or something, because right now there' nothing but dissapointment when joining a game in progress, which seems to be 90% of the games I join.
What the fuck kind of bullshit system did they thought up for competitive? Who the fuck thought it would be a good idea to tie the skill-progress to winning/losing alone? You could be the best player in the world, do[I] everything[/I] in a match while your teammates are busy doing something else and you still get a giant minus in progress if you lose. It's like your "skill" doesn't matter at all, because if the rest in your team fucks up, it simply drags you down too. Oh what irony that it adjusts your skill level in the end, when the way you play does not matter at all in the end, as long as you win, it's all good. And when you lose it doesn't matter at all too! This really pisses me off.

You can choose to use it in the Weapons menu in the hero gallery.

Its' a terrible system that just makes you sad as you plummet to SR 0.

I think the rank system should gather data from players and adjust matchmaking based on their performance, so players that are actually good will get matched together, rather than 50/50 you get winning team or losing one as it is now.

The Comp experience: Their team: 6 man group who are constantly comunicating and working together my team: a 5 sized group of complete strangers who just teamed up because of the exp boost who never communicate or work together running in one by one and me i hate groups in comp

I understand why the competitive rank system is as it is. I'd just wish you wouldn't lose such a ridiculous amount of progress when you lose a game, even when it's a very close match.
i was at sr 70 a few days ago and i thought maybe i could do a Rocky montage and get to rank 77/78 but match makings been: "want to rank up or have fun or challenge? lol no here fight these golden weapon Genjis and widows with teams that really confuse you how they got to rank 68"

A system that only considers win has the players try to optimize their play to achieve that goal: winning. However, if you start giving points for performance, suddenly your teammates are incentivized to try and maximize their own performace without taking actual teamwork into consideration. Tanks that try to maximize their damage done, offense classes that try to keep their k/d as high as possible etc. Even if you take all kinds of stats into account, you can't make an accurate assesment of a player's worth to the team simply by looking at the statistics. I'd rather have the current system where players are incentivized to win rather than a system where everyone is essentially a solo player and winning or losing don't matter that much. EDIT: Not to mention that trying to balance this system between roles/classes is a fucking nightmare and will almost inevitably end in a situation where certain classes are easier to rank up with because of the way their stats are taken into account in the ranking system.

I'm really scared that Blizzard will fuck Sombra's stealth mechanic up, either making her very op or very up.
i love it when we're about to win on a payload map so the defending team goes double genji and wipes every one of our pushes with their ults

Say like, her stealth lasts 5 seconds for a quick get-away but has like a 15 second cooldown. Her passive could be that stealth attacks do 10% more damage and since we've seen her on top pf buildings and goals, she could be a climber with a Death From Above move. Dunno what her Ult could be that wouldn't be a huge annoyance though. With her tech affinity it'd have to be like a radial screen scramble or stun/disable.

Okay, so i had a genji slashing with his ult like 3 meters away from me and killed me. i am reinhardt using a huge hammer that is way longer and bigger than genji's sword. But no, i am really sure i had moments i hit them with the hammer, 100%. But it doesn't regist as a hit. Whats going on here? Anyone else get this same issue as well? It really frustrates me.

It actually encourages me to give a better effort next match and it usually actually works! My tip is; don't let the shit heads who go "gg ez" get to you.
