Overwatch - She who has the information, has the power

Third comp match in a row where I'm the scapegoat in mic chat, getting blamed for everything going wrong, even though I have 2-3 gold medals and a few silvers.
I really wish we could see the top 3 medal owners (like a mini-leaderboard under each medal) so I don't have to waste my time explaining why what I'm doing is useful.
Player concerns. A lot of people have been complaining on various sites and blizz forums. I'd figured they would have made a comment.

Genji is a strong hero currently, really good, but not nearly as bad as people here like to demonize him. I firmly believe the most vocal complainers are just simply bad at the game.

Winston, Zarya, Roadhog, D.Va kinda, McCree.
A good 76 will beat a good Genji almost all the time as well.

pardon me not being in the loop, but what's this whole thing with Sombra? what indicates she'll have any stealth abilities?
regarding?
There's been a figure with active camouflage seen in a bunch of different places.

Where? The only one I know of is the one with her (supposedly) above the Lucioball goal.
dumb
I don't know what you don't get. A genji spamming the spacebar is tough to hit. He always seems to have his deflect so mcree's or hog's sometimes won't get the hook or flash, Winston does little dps to really be able to finish him off, and he can always seem to dash away at any moment. Not to mention he can build ult way too quickly and it lasts way too long, and has no actual counter.
Zarya's beam in theory works but you have to have great aim to hit a moving genji. Winston works but doesn't deal enough damage to be able to kill him before he dashes away. Hog probably the best counter but he can reflect the hook which is pretty dumb. Mei can freeze him but again he can just dash off. He can dash out of Zarya's ult. And like I said, his actual ultimate has no real counters, unlike some others.

Other than the goal, her legs appear to have the same blurry cloak effect in the old newspaper issue.

That's a personal complaint, work on your aim. Did you never play tf2 against Scouts or something?
He always seems to have his deflect so mcree's or hog's sometimes won't get the hook or flash
Start using your brain instead of mindlessly vomiting skills. Besides simply baiting reflect you can shoot at him first as roadhog and throw the flash at the floor/air as mcree
Winston does little dps to really be able to finish him off, and he can always seem to dash away at any moment.
That's what your jetpack is for, he can't deflect your tesla cannon
Not to mention he can build ult way too quickly and it lasts way too long, and has no actual counter.
I'll kind of give you this one, but most ults don't have any "counter" either

I think genji is fine with how prominent zen and lucio are now. They pretty much negate his ult.
The Tf2 economy pretty much made me glad that there is no trading at all in OW.
I never want to experience that shit again.
At least TF2's item system isn't inherently bad like Overwatch's is. Any game economy with real money value is going to have its flaws like greed and toxic individuals but it hasn't genuinely caused any major problems. The two sides of the game proved to keep themselves pretty separate and even updates from years ago where they focused largely on cosmetics were better than the half-assed updates they push out nowadays.
If Blizzard insists on not improving the currently awful loot box and coin system the least they could do is give people the freedom to trade for stuff they actually want. If people really want to focus on cosmetics (which still couldn't even come close with some TF2 players obsession with them) then just let them, the community would be quick to make dedicated sites for trading so you'll never have to deal with them unless you wanted to trade for something yourself.

Except his ult outlasts their ults so he can still get 1 or 2 kills with it.
Disagree
Whatever, refuse to improve and blame any and everything but yourself forever.
Except his ult outlasts their ults so he can still get 1 or 2 kills with it.
Not if you use transcendence first and then break it down after it ends. But it's still bullshit how you need two heroes to effectively counter his ult
Oh cool, thanks for putting me on teams in comp where I have teammates that spout "trust me attack bastion on nubani is a great idea:D" or the sudden influx of fucking TRASH hanzo's that refuse to swap.
I thought for a brief foolish moment that I might be able to hit 60 but fucking nope. I hate people who want to play TDM instead of anything else and run one and one. I actively hate these people and wish I could break their games somehow.
I'm mad as h*ck

Gotta realize, what's easier:
Acknowledging your bad and trying to improve
or
NERF!!! NERF HIM!!! NERF HIM PLS!!!
Genji's going to get nerfed and when it happens people are going to go "wtf genji is bad now he's impossible to play" because of it.
mercy's summer games skin is my favorite mercy skin so far and i got it in an unbox

Ratings are for doing what I just did. I already made my point, what else more do you want?
tryin again, how do i play lucio effectively. i usually just feed.

Shitters will just bandwagon onto something else to cry about. I imagine teardrops about Tracer and Zarya will be next.

If you need 2 supports to dedicate their ults for countering 1 single offensive hero's ult then there's probably a problem.
The only thing I think they should change on Genji is to decrease his ult duration by like, 1 second, maybe 2.
It always seems to last a second too long for me.
What is even going on with competitive.
How is it I find more teamwork in quick-play than fucking competitve. I think at least 4 games out of the past 10 I've had two or more people leave.

Things that counter Genji's ult:
Break it Down
Transcendence
Zarya in general
Black Hole
Winston Smacking him a mile with his
Ana's Sleep Dart
Reinhardts Earth Shatter
Roadhog in general
Good Team Work
etc. Spending a single ult to nullify a attacking ult is kind of a fair trade if you ask me.

If you think Genji is in a good place, you might be a bit biased. I don't think he's ridiculous but he definitely needs some tweaking. Same with D.Va, she needs some tweaking, but don't gut her.

people are more likely to have that "im right you're wrong, one mistake means you're shit" attitude in ranked modes because they're taking it seriously.
casual modes are just that, casual and contain the laid back people who just chillin with mates or unwinding after work.
I feel like some people are seriously unable to take criticism in comp, it like shatters their ego or some shit. Like if you tell someone they're not doing well with a character they go all "fuck you, check my hours, faggot" and stuff like that. That's what I've been experiencing at least.
I'm a little guilty of this sometimes too but I'll man up and switch if I'm doing poorly. Whatever helps us win.

I can agree he can use some tweaking but all the "omg wut do i do so op ; -:" is an exaggeration that's starting to piss me off.

(This is from my experience, it may be wrong depending on your playstyle) get really good at wall riding, elevation is a huge bonus to Lucio. It makes you less visible to enemies (as most of the dps will be shooting people on the ground), makes you practically immune to stray junkrats bombs and traps, and it increases your sightlines to enemies and teammates to heal.
Lucio's healing aoe is a lot bigger than most people think, you don't have to be right up to someone to heal them, 95% of the time sightlines will be enough to heal them.
You'll pretty much always want to keep your healing on if you dont have a specific reason to speed boost, as the changes in speed can mess up teammates aim.
And I cant stress enough that Lucio is NOT a dps, 99% of the time you wont be able to 1v1 anything more than 200hp heroes and not die, it's better to assist in damage while healing than to suicide in.
Also, if you want to get really good at Lucio, I highly recommend Professorganymede, he has a lot of great tutorials with lucio (he soes have pretty bad opinions on hero balance though).
Feel free to correct me if im wrong on anything.
I've almost never felt like I needed more than 1 ult to stop Genji's when playing as either Lucio or Zen. Especially Zen's.
Probably his dominance in the current meta.
What
Except his ult outlasts their ults so he can still get 1 or 2 kills with it.
I play Lucio a lot and this rarely happens. Sound barrier gives everyone enough time to fuck him up and if they don't I can just amp it up near the end of sound barrier and push genji away.
