If you think Genji is in a good place, you might be a bit biased. I don't think he's ridiculous but he definitely needs some tweaking. Same with D.Va, she needs some tweaking, but don't gut her.
I don't think I'm very biased as someone who plays Genji's favorite targets [t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CpjRlr_VMAAVsM_.jpg[/t]
[vid]http://s1.webmshare.com/byDZm.webm[/vid]
I love popping sound-barrier at the most critical times and saving teammates from enemy ults. It's so rewarding.
Black Hole
Genji's dash actually gets him out of this no problem. Also it takes him far enough away that, unless he runs back towards the Black Hole, he wont get sucked back in.
Things that counter Genji's ult: Break it Down Transcendence Zarya in general Black Hole Winston Smacking him a mile with his Ana's Sleep Dart Reinhardts Earth Shatter Roadhog in general Good Team Work
I'm not trying to defend or be against Genji at all in this debate, but these arguments simply don't work. Most of these are very situational. A good Genji wouldn't let himself get sleep darted or Earth Shattered. These types of arguments are assuming every single player is playing at their 100% best and/or are standing right infront of each other, in which case, how do you know if the Genji won't just outplay these counters? It's pretty obvious Genji has counters, but are his counters reliable enough? Does Genji have too much leeway? These are the kind of points you should be making and discussing, not "Oh he has counters, so he's not broken!"
I don't think I'm very biased as someone who plays Genji's favorite targets
This doesn't mean anything. Roadhog could easily be my least played hero but it doesn't change the fact he's my favorite and I'd be biased against touching him.
I don't know what you don't get. A genji spamming the spacebar is tough to hit. Zarya's beam in theory works but you have to have great aim to hit a moving genji.
Airborne targets move in parabolas because there's minimal air control and Zarya's laser lets you aim center mass for full damage because it can't headshot. The game is not the issue.

I cant have a normal ping of around 50ms and be aiming pretty much dead center on a target and still have it not register it hitting properly.
(This is from my experience, it may be wrong depending on your playstyle) get really good at wall riding, elevation is a huge bonus to Lucio. It makes you less visible to enemies (as most of the dps will be shooting people on the ground), makes you practically immune to stray junkrats bombs and traps, and it increases your sightlines to enemies and teammates to heal. Lucio's healing aoe is a lot bigger than most people think, you don't have to be right up to someone to heal them, 95% of the time sightlines will be enough to heal them. You'll pretty much always want to keep your healing on if you dont have a specific reason to speed boost, as the changes in speed can mess up teammates aim. And I cant stress enough that Lucio is NOT a dps, 99% of the time you wont be able to 1v1 anything more than 200hp heroes and not die, it's better to assist in damage while healing than to suicide in. Also, if you want to get really good at Lucio, I highly recommend Professorganymede, he has a lot of great tutorials with lucio (he soes have pretty bad opinions on hero balance though). Feel free to correct me if im wrong on anything.
thanks, i really like healer classes and lucio seems fun but we always get fucking destroyed whenever Im playing him so i figured thered be smoethign i can do better.

Like just re-read that for a second. If you have the tools to counter a player, and the player expertly dodges everything you and your team throw at him and he gets a kill on you guys then he totally deserves it. What happens most of the time in reality is Genji ults, nobody instantly turns and opens fire on him, and then complain when he kills everyone and skitters away. Hell maybe you did notice and start but you're team didn't. That clip I posted with me earth shattering him notice how my entire team turned around for a moment and Genji just got erased? If he fucks up a single time that ninja's spare parts on the floor, and even in worst case scenario's he'll get one or maybe two kills off which... seems normal for a ult? Also as a aside, I'm pretty sure his ult lasts as long as it does because each swing of his sword is like a second or two unless nano boosted so if it got shortened it would mess with that pretty drastically in multiple ways so I don't think that would work. Only things I think would fix Genji is if his ult was slightly shorter ranged (though this could fuck up a lot of client side things) and the screen itself because a hurtbox so Genji didn't have to stare at the ground when he cuts things during it. [editline]11th August 2016[/editline]
Genji's dash actually gets him out of this no problem. Also it takes him far enough away that, unless he runs back towards the Black Hole, he wont get sucked back in.
It creates a area of denial because of it though. I'm not sure why a Genji would escape the kill pull only to risk running at it just so he can get a slash off- it's too risky unless the Zarya ulted with only her and like, one other teammate around. [editline]11th August 2016[/editline] My favorite part in the "assuming if everyone had perfect aim all the time and did everything perfectly" argument, it would actually switch over to McCree being the problem as he could just headshot everyone with perfect aim for a 2 hit kill on almost everyone in the cast.
Anyone else feel like there's a lot of effects in this that don't represent how big something is? Like D.va's ult doesn't seem to have that large of an effect, despite it being a huge explosion or Lucio's boop being a small green flash even though the size actually being quite large?
I've given up trying to understand the boop. Sometimes the boop god will smile on me and that little green wave will send someone flying. Sometimes it's as strong as it looks and is a literal gust of wind.

But in-game, it feels like a little nudge whenever you use it and a cliff is always added right behind you whenever it's used on you.
I think your and their momentum have an effect
Nope, your momentum changes nothing. Only their momentum will have an effect.
Only thing I think needs a rework ranked wise is the fact that you can go Win->Lose->Win->Lose->etc and still fall in ranks. Like it should just keep you where you were at best.
The entire enemy team can just leave during Lucioball and cause nobody to win. Good work Blizzard :v:
What if Sombra's ult muted your in-game sounds for the duration or muffled them.
What if Sombra kissed u
Fitting, given Blizzard's tie-ins with this year's Olympics... [t]http://i.imgur.com/ZvKq9QJ.jpg[/t]
I guess if you are in Rio. The only thing you can do is Die, Die, Die.
I'm excited for the Bastion short, it is very likely it won't have any dialogue whatsoever so it'll have to rely entirely on visual storytelling, so unlike the other shorts it might not be a piece of shit.
Oooh! What if, Symmetra's E, was constructable team locked health-kit spawners. Eh? Eh?
If this ain't comp, don't try to win. Play with your feet if you want. I am so tired of this.
I like how if hide behind a thin pole or tree the right way, you are safe from dvas ult
I've been working on getting my avg energy % higher with Zarya, it was 29% (avg) when I started, now it's 36% and still raising. FeelsGoodMan. If you're having problems getting your avg energy up, there's a few tips I can give, but I'm no ~pro Zarya player~ or anything. Your bubble is slightly larger than Reinhardt's shield, throw your bubble on him to help absorb damage his shield would take otherwise, and also get your charge up. Bubble people reactively instead of proactively, so don't try to bubble someone before you or them get into a fight, the enemy team will just ignore you until the bubble is down if you do. Game sense, lots and lots of game sense, prioritize DPS and healers who are being wailed on over other tanks Prioritize Mercy if you have one because the enemy team is going to do everything they can to kill her, protect her with your life.
Why can't I play with my rank 60 friend without getting massive penalties to rating change I still get 70-80s on the other team anyways
New Overbuff report: https://www.overbuff.com/blog/2016-08-11-overwatch-hero-tier-list-and-meta-report-don-t-panic [t]https://www.overbuff.com/blobs/1kefH6WJFBv.png[/t] [t]https://www.overbuff.com/blobs/1kefQKxVMqQ.png[/t] This is really concerning. RIP Mercy Congrats to Zarya for becomming a 100% pick D.Va and Roadhog barely hanging on to relevance.
I can't stop laughing at the KOTH usage rates 4/6 are the same every single time, then there are 3 choices to fill the last 2 slots
My waifu shall always be in meta, if Blizzard ever takes her out of meta I will probably cry...and then move on to someone else I'm semi-decent at.
Thought i'd share some some unused Lucio emotes I found digging through the files of the latest patch while porting to SFM.
[vid]https://aww.moe/nmnslo.mp4[/vid]
First Looks like a sit down animation? It has a seperate loop animation on it which means it may be toggleable. Second looks like another laugh emote. Edit: After looking at more files it seems like multiple, if not all characters now have a sit down animation. New social emote coming?
