To add my two cents to the Genji debate without just assuming someone is bad at the game like a dick, i'd think he was balanced if there was a hard counter to him. There are things that can counter him, definitely, especially smart playing but there don't seem to be any real HARD COUNTERS to him, only mitigations and small counters. Just my opinion, haven't really played since Ana dropped because new apartment and no internet, so no comp either.
Take it as you will, but essentially telling someone "git gud" when they have a complaint or differing opinion is a piss poor, fairly childish way of doing things. Don't let this community become even more toxic than it already is with that sort of attitude, opt for educating them instead.

It's not because they're complaining about Genji, it's because of what the complaint is. Complaining about not being able to hit someone moving through the air warrants a "git gud".

Mercy has to pick between healing, boosting and dealing iffy dps
Zenyatta can heal, boost and do great dps at the same time.
The choice is pretty obvious.
I'm starting to think Overwatch needs some serious Diablo III treatment. Buff [I]everybody[/I] who's in F tier. That'd make things interesting for a while.

I wish I was good with McCree. With Soldier:76 I find controlling my fire rate better and the portable heal helps me to take the extra damage when I stand still asking to be killed.

Yeah, pretty much all the F tier heroes (excluding ana) need a buff right now

As someone with 44 MMR, I just played in a six-stack premade with 60ish MMRs and oh man
it wasn't fun at all
but seriously, I stopped playing CSGO because the high-stakes seriousness and tactics were actually hurting my emotional state, I don't want that in a colorful wacky game I play for fun :c

I really wish Torb's Turret could prioritize players and not just focus on the Trancendence Zen or Shielding Reinhardt instead of the fucking Reaper eviscerating it from 3 feet away.
I've basically wasted so many Molten Cores because my Turret decided to focus on a target it couldn't damage instead of the enemies attacking it who were vulnerable.
I tried this game on a friends account and holy shit it is fun as fuck. Instantly bought it and played Pharah for 3 hours. Love it.
This cannot be a coincidence.

I was surprised to see Ana so low because I imagine shed be amazing in comp with how much healing she can put out in a short amount of time along with how useful denying heals and ccing targets can be, and also how great her ult can be, but then I remembered that the combination of Zen and Lucio kinda makes that all moot.

It's good being shit because at my level everything is viable.
Ana's probably in F tier because she's SUPER unreliable and can break a team.
A: Teammate needs healing at the front line, you line up a shot and fire and miss- that friendly is now dead because you fucked up
B: You line up a shot but a teammate/enemy walks in front of you and takes the bullet. The friendly is now dead because of you.
C: You spot a weak enemy that killed your teammate and is escaping- you aim and fire and hit a teammate at full health that ran in front of you letting them escape.
She's just too much of a liability in high level super comp play I imagine, those three situations combined with the fact she has absolutely no mobility options make her pretty unappealing I'd imagine.

Sometimes miss being low level just because the hero roster is so small up here.
The main reason I don't play Mercy anymore is usually everyone is gunning for you. Taking 2-3 ults solo trying to get back to your team from spawn sucks the fun out a little bit.
There's a special place in hell for people who pick Hanzo in competitive
The current meta is so fucking cancer.

i disagree, her grenade is probably the only reason you would choose her in a meta. you can completely cancel a zenyatta ult
I feel like Ana would be much better if the scope-in animation was not so fucking slow.
I don't feel it much with widowmaker (mostly because I don't play widowmaker) because with Widow you play it slow but with ana having to wait half a second to heal somebody for 70hp is just annoying

you dont have to scope though. Hipfiring works just as well, you just have to compensate for the dart having a travel time.

At this point I feel I should put off playing any other class but Lucio, while there are some great exceptions (like that time when every single person in the team was communicating with mics) I always find myself with terrible healers.
Just this match I've been holding on my Genji ult for [B]the entirety of the match[/B] because our Zenyatta and Lucio only popped when I was dead, I took the enemy turret down like 4 times just to have it back in seconds, and the Zarya solo-popped (once).
At least if i play lucio I know I can only be kredit to team

Me: "we dont have any long range heroes except for supports, can you pick soldier?"
Me: "sour?"
Me: "why won't you change?"

Anyhow, how has the season been treating you guys?
Spinning at 60-61 but tbh I feel like with my current skill level this is where I belong at the moment.
Also love how blizz made the top 500 award. Hate it when people think everything should be a participation award.
