I don't care in quick play but people who don't care about composition in competitive shouldn't be playing competitive.

I have this same problem, and while I do not know the definite answer, lowering the temperatures on my computer has helped.

I use EVGA Precision X16 to keep the temperatures of my GPU in the low 40's. It usually never raises any higher than 45 C.

It doesn't take long if you're used to it and use your whole arm to move your mouse. It lets you be a lot more accurate than higher sensitivities.
Of course it's silly if you've got a smaller mousemat than 45cm horizontally, but if your sens lets you do more than a 720 across the whole mousepad then it's too high, as there's no reason whatsoever you should be turning more than 360 degrees by moving your mouse from the center to the edge. Ideally you want 180, but it could be too slow for some people and a sens too slow to track normal moving targets is also bad.

I was using 3.5 @ 800 for awhile. I'd like to keep using it actually but I don't have the desk real estate to use that sens and also fight Genjis and Tracers correctly (or play as them).

How does that shape up in terms of mouse distance for a 360? I'm rockin' 1600dpi at 5.00 sens ingame, makes for about 10 inches for 360. Just want a relative comparison cuz idk how the ingame sensitivity scaling works.

I try my best to use it every time someone gives me something, but sometimes I forget or I'm too busy focused on something else. :v:
Man all these posts about using 3 sensitivity makes me feel weird for using 50 sensitivity with 1000dpi. I'm pretty average with soldier and McCree this way but I'm able to do pretty well with Pharah and Genji. Think I'll try lowering the sensitivity for soldier and McCree and see how it works.
Genji is a real hit or miss for me. Some games everything just lines up perfectly and I am just going through the motions and unleash complete hell on the enemy team. Other games I'm consistently missing the deflect and dash timings and just generally fuck up incredibly.

I used 2 on 800dpi for a bit of time, though I went back to 5 because my mousepad is too small to support that sens.
