So as someone who hasn't played in a while (or hasn't played as much as I expected I would), what has changed besides the adding of Ana and competitive? Will competitive be good for a lone wolfer and do people use their mic in it? I'm thinking of getting back into it once I'm back from holidays and maybe playing with a friend.

Alright, got a question. On Numbani, roof above the under part with a health pack. How do you play against a Bastion being baby sat by a d.va and a Reinhardt? Just played against this on sudden death attack and literally had no idea what to do.

I really need to wait for my friends to rest from their holydays and play the game with them once more I'm playing on quick match and I'm getting stomped constantly (it doesn't help that I'm often gulled into playing supports, which, in perspective, it's like taking a front seat to the great shower of shit event)

But if they're in the voip they atleast listen to calls and callouts atleast.

Decided to fuck about in custom game with AI enemies, I added all Lucio to the other team and no AI to my team. Set the ability cooldown to 0 as it turns out an entire team of easy setting Lucio AIs who can infinitely bop you, self-heal and occasionally ult is fucking deadly. who would've thought or maybe I'm just really shitty :smug:

I find it silly how Zenyatta went from 0% pick rate to literally 100% pick rate in one patch :v:

I fired up Overwatch today with the intent of paying attention to the game a lot more as Zarya, ulting correctly, and making sure to always have a high charge. I was playing my first game of the day and a buddy whispers me "Hey do you know Chauklet, LOLYOU's friend?" and I was like "Yeah, why?" and he said "We're trying to a get a trio going, come after this match." and I was like "Alright." I expected to do poorly because the game just has not been on my side recently, but I didn't want to turn a friend down and if my rank dropped, who cares? If my rank raised, great. We absolutely dominated, we only lost I think 2 games and we played something like 10-12, it was crazy. We get thrown into King's Row and my first thought was "Ugh, not spooky Temple of Anubis." and we instantly got shattered on the first point, our defense fell apart, and we had something like 6-7 minutes on the last point, I was playing Zarya and our team comp was generally pretty good, but we couldn't hold anything, something clicked and I kept getting insane 4-5 man ults after Chauklet picked off their Mercy, we were absolutely dominating, then we lost 2 fights in a row and they almost had the point, I was down and Chauklet was on Reaper, he held the last point really well, I get back up and we instantly get Reinhardt ulted, thankfully they went after our Zenyatta so I got a 3 man ult and Chauklet got a quad to win us the round. Next round, Chauklet locks in Tracer, I lock in Zarya, and our buddy locks in Zenyatta, the team comp is once again generally pretty well rounded, as soon as we're at the middle of the map, the checkpoint directly before the last with the super small corridors, Chauklet is just chilling behind the enemy team and I get a 5 man ult, he gets all of them with his sticky bomb and we basically just continued to pile drive them until we reached the last checkpoint...the same exact thing happened at the very last checkpoint, he smashed the whole team with his sticky bomb after I got all of them in my ult. I went from 52 to 56, and I went up from 36% all time energy average on Zarya to 38%. Thank you Overwatch, you make me feel wanted now. [b]Short version:[/b] I played a lot of good games today in a three queue, I kept getting 4-5 man ults as Zarya, my all time average energy went up to 38%, and I went from 52 to 56.

Then you know they're at least decent at the game. I also took into consideration their top 3 heroes, voted for 2 dps and 1 tank.

It's quite a struggle not wanting to get serious and play competitive but then not being able to enjoy quickplay when it's full of either people who think choosing all the same class is hilarious and "fun" or people that get upset when you're trying to enjoy the game yourself. Because apparently, you're an idiot for expecting even a minuscule amount of team-effort and you should "learn to have fun xD". Maybe I've just been running into a lot of toxic players or something.

Looking through these UK options and it's basically "who the fuck is this" and "they're all trash". The first two options fucking main Widowmaker for fucks sake.
