I really wouldn't be surprised if we never get purchasable items ever again and everything from here on out will be only obtainable from special event boxes where the only way to get all the special items is to but a shit ton of them and cross fingers. We're on a real slippery slope here.

Who knows. If they changed their minds on letting us buy all items with coins. They might change their mind on all future maps and heroes being free. We might have to unbox the right to use them out of a special 1 week crate.

I'd be alright if they dropped credits in favor of a collection system without any duplicates. At least that way we wouldn't have to deal with the randomization.

Seriously, I'm the kind of person I like having things organized and entering to Zarya's Gallery and seeing I'm missing one voice line and spray is making me going haywire. At least in TF2 is didn't shoved it in your face saying "HEY HEY Look you are missing an item you can't get."

All they have to do is make these items purchasable with coins. That is all we want. We all already know them wanting these items to be rare and special is a bunch of bullshit. Why would you keep the option to buy loot boxes in if you wanted rare and special items??

It's pretty obvious what's going to happen, new heroes come with skins you can buy with credits, all other event skins are drop restricted, and then maybe on occasion you might see a cosmetic refresh with stuff you can buy just because having a ton of people with 99999 credits probably isn't a great idea. Not saying it's a good thing, just saying what I'm expecting. Though maybe there's a chance they'll put out drop restricted skins at a more extreme credits price, which I think would be a better solution for everyone.

If they didn't want us hoarding coins then they shouldn't have added a coin system to began with.

These summer items are ONLY available during the summer games and ONLY in summer lootboxes with RNG. We don't even know if they are going to do this again. If they do, They are just going to add even more RNG only items that will make it harder to get this years items.

And we don't even know if next year will be the summer games right? I imagine this is only for the Olympics.

Yeah the only pre-order skin was Noire Widowmaker. Which people were still guaranteed to get if they pre-ordered. So people were also not mad about that.

I had always thought a static cooldown on it just like any other skill would make her a simple block-and-runner, and now with this her mech actually stands out a lot more in the Tank category.

Player's already couldn't use to coins to purchase "any specific cosmetic you want" and even before the summer loot there was legitimate grounds to call that false advertising. Not that I doubt they won't try to pull this kind of shit again, but I don't think them changing their description of the game to be more truthful is necessarily indicative of them planning their next scheme as much as it is them not wanting to be sued for the last one.

I've noticed a pattern in comp: Teams who makes calls and talk: win Teams who don't make calls: lose. Sometimes there are exceptions but man I hate it when me and my friend are making calls but no one else is.

Yeah I'm not ready to cry doom and gloom about Overwatch quite yet, it's definitely shifty behavior, but I'm not going to assume they're going to go too far with that sort of thing

Not to mention I'm waiting for some big event and they say "Sorry lack of resources" and it gets put on the community because no one wants to buy boxes.

Several give an advantage by making the head blend with the rest of the body (Scarecrow) or make the silhouette not match the hitboxes (Djinnyatta/Ifrit).

I'm curious what the blizzcon exclusives for OW are gonna be.

I can never pull off a successful high noon, it's always a reinhardt or dva blocking, or genji relfecting so I have to back off. At best I'm zoning for a few seconds. What's the secret? I'm not trying to go for POTG, just trying to contribute. before you say "break the shield" or something obvious, I know, I just want to know when you guys find a good time to pop it
