When D.Va ults, if you're Reinhardt, just plop up your shield and point it in the direction of her ult. Now it doesn't do shit to you or anyone behind the shield. If you're Zarya you can try to Barrier yourself before it explodes and get a huge boost to your charge, but it's a little tricky to time this right. As Roadhog and Winston just try to get behind something as quickly as possible, but if that doesn't work just back up and hope you're far away enough before it explodes. Zarya can also shoot through Defense Matrix with her main attack, so use that to your advantage.

I demolish D.va with Zarya's primary.. Get her in the head (extremely easy considering it's giant, blue and right in the middle of her mech body) and she goes down really fast, even at 0 energy

I really get the impression that widowmaker is a bad pick in just about every situation. Unless you have a godlike player that can score headshots every time someones steps out of cover.
I feel like if a team hasn't picked a healer by the fifth pick, they are doomed to fail before the match even starts.

No. He's just bad. McCree is easily one of the most versatile, if not THE most versatile hero(es) in the whole game because of his ability to fight at any range, in fact, fighting close range with McCree is pretty favorable depending on who it is because of the stun and fan the hammer, it absolutely destroys squishy targets such as Zenyatta or Tracer.

Zarya's primary attack is the only thing that ignores defense matrix, and Zarya is one of the best matchups against current D.Va

He can two shot you, he doesn't need a flash.

Technically Symmetra and Winston can do that too, but Zarya is probably the better match up.

He's one of the best heroes in the game in the right hands
The biggest issue with genji is the same problem widowmaker has - too many players are "career genji" players who literally only play genji even if the situation doesn't call for it at all. But even in this worst case scenario he's still usually pretty useful to have, unlike a widowmaker on a KOTH map or something.

Mei also prevents the Dva from just running away like they would if a 50%+ charge Zarya would barge into their face.
Her cannons can kill Mei pretty fast though, so one should be careful.
You know what stinks? I love playing Hanzo and Widowmaker but there's never enough of a justification to play them in most games. Also because most people in quick play instalock a sniper character in before I can even try to consider it. They're just fun to play for me okay :frown:

I think Rein's Barrier protects from more things than Matrix, except the two projectiles that go through shields (Flamestrike and Sym orbs).
I'm going to be legit mad if/when we get Halloween themed skins Blizzard doesn't make a skeleton Zenyatta and call it Spookyatta.

Genji's deflect also protects from more things as it lets you negate melee attacks and hooks.
