am I the only one who thinks Blizzard needs to rework Symmetra she's so underpicked and kinda useless at higher levels, she also needs to be moved to defense but I feel as if people have been saying that for a while

I think making symmetras turrets a bit smaller, making deploy rate faster and turret replenish speed faster would make her a great choice. As soon as you put more turrets up someone is going to destroy them quickly and the time it takes to recharge them is way too long to make the turrets viable. And putting her in the Defensive category.
They should give her a proper Ult instead of making it an ability that should be something she should be able to do by default. I'd personally make it so symmetra's tele works more like TF2 Engineer's tele in the sense it takes 10-15 seconds to build and has to cooldown between teleports, maybe with the cooldown being determined by how far away the teleporter is, but have it replace her shield giving ability and make that passive, along with giving her some sort of proper ult that can attempt to negate a push or something. Found a new way for mercy's healing + dmg boost at the same time, and it works. And another thing i've found for bastion's ult. Having no recoil when shooting. Gotta love finding bugs. :v:

Symmetra should just be Combat Girl from Super Monday Night Combat. She was a blast, and had mini turrets, and was support.

Or make it re-castable so you could focus on a tank and keep their shield up longer. Also it doesn't really make much sense to me that the speed/heals support character has an ultimate that gives a ton of shields and not the shield support character.

Tracer and Genji (or any hero really) with an extra 50 health start to become broken.
If had a dollar for every time someone types "GG Easy" in chat. I would have enough money to end world hunger. I'm not even mad. I'm just impressed.
I mean, you guys are kinda discounting her shields, even if they're not as good as they used to be. They're still a 25hp automatic heal that'll consistently come back without even needing the Symmetra's attention, that is if you're not constantly getting hurt. It still could use a buff though, like adding 25 shields and converting 25 base health into shields, since adding 50 health straight up to some characters flat out breaks them. Also wish she had a Friendly Health Regenerated card, I'm interested myself to see the numbers for a normal match

Just had a 76 in a comp match that would do nothing but try to snipe people. He ulted once the entire match.

If his only use is bullshit scatter arrows and spamming around corners, then out of all the heroes, he should be the one to receive a rework first.
Symmetra is kind of decent because you can swap out a mercy with a longer-lasting lucio, but she's still pretty worthless. Maybe give her more spawn-related buffs like people spawning get a speed boost that lasts for five or so seconds, and it'll persist even when taking her teleporter. I also feel like her giving other people shields should also give herself 5+ shield per player like others have been suggesting. One of my dumb suggestions is perhaps make it so her turrets can target projectiles and slow them down in a statis? The longer turret(s) fire at a projectile, the faster the projectile will disintegrate?

If you want to balance out the scrap cost, give the ability a cool down, one long enough that you can't buff all five team mates before the round starts like her turrets.

Something flankers do constantly. 75 armor gets eaten away and doesn't come back unless he throws down another. That 75 armor needs to be obtained through 2 enemy deaths.
Almost all the Defense heroes (That includes Symm) need something done about them. They have some of the biggest flaws compared to most of the other classes. Mei, Bastion, and Hanzo sometimes are just dead weight on a team if they are fighting against any competent players. Junkrat and Widow I could say are the "least bad" and can work but could still use some changes here or there to make them better and less niche (Though I would hate to see more Widows in general but that's not the point.)

Instead of 25 extra shields, she should [I]replace[/I] 50-60 health with shields, maybe give it an actual cast time too. Or just do away with shielding entirely, make her teleport a regular thing, give her an actual game-changing ult and move her to defense
