What the hell blizzard. Wow it really urks me that we cant buy them through coins...
I reallly hope that there's also new skins that aren't limited time only that blizzard is keeping secret. They're only going to make money off people stupid enough to buy those lootboxes and only get dupes 90% of the time eventually. If not, I hope Blizzard pays attention to the backlash from this and changes it so you can buy them with credits, but since this is Blizzard I'm being extremely optimistic about this.
What bothers me the most about this is that you get credits for dupes, but can't spend them on summer skins. They will most likely be the same credits you would get for regular dupes.
The amount of hate i get for play Mei is possibly the best thing ever. I love getting behind them, freezing them and then trapping them in a corner for my team mates to kill them.

Welp, i'll probably spend little euros but that's it, i don't get the urge of denying the use of coins, it just makes it pointless for more possible "limited" stuff.
Can't wait for Halloween which'll happen the same.
Not sure whether I'm more disappointed that they hyped up such bland skins or whether they have the audacity to make them only available in crate form. Though I suppose greed and disappointment fits with the Olympic theme very well.
I'm all for the skins, but it'd be nice if Lucio at least kept some shades on. He looks so weird without them.

Wow, Olympic skins are really dumb. Like I know a lot of legendary skins are non-canonical or silly, but nothing takes me out of a fantasy(ish) game more than real-world endorsed items/advertising (not to mention for something set 60 years in the game world's past). Especially something with that will lose relevancy after a month when the games end. Let's just hope the Rio labeling will be kept at a minimum so we can pretend that they're just generic track and field outfits.
Are the summer crates going to replace the normal crates for the whole duration of the promotion? Because Id like to keep working up to actually good skins

it would be better if you couldn't get duplicates, so 90 crates = all 90 limited shit. But as it is right now I can see people opening 350 crates and stll not getting all of them.

If there are 90 items, but there are only 22 skins (44 in best case scenario), what's all the rest? Sprays?
Limited skins are a crap, but if they have limited voicelines and intros it's gonna be even worse.

I don't even think we're getting 22 new skins. If you look at the promo a few of the heroes shown don't even have new skins, implying that inly some are getting skins and others emotes.
I'm glad to see that the 2.5k in gold I saved has the potential to be completely worthless since it won't buy me jack shit if all future cosmetic updates just go the way of "limited crate release" bullshit.
