I really, really wish that the Summer Skins came with other 'real' skins, like don't get me wrong, some of them are really cool, but I'd like to see more in-universe or alternate takes of the characters

[QUOTE=FezianEmperor;50816294]That's odd considering how many people play this game.[/QUOTE] Not really, in comp the average is really, fucking low, getting to the top 500 just requires to be half decent, know how to play a bunch of character roles well and ideally keep up with a party of players so you don't get matched with potatoes and onions. Or go the other route and crack the code by finding out you're really fucking good at one character and carry everyone. Plus to be honest, most of the people who are in the top 500 here played twitch shooters or other competitive games before picking up Overwatch and they were already pretty good, it just passed on. Still don't really know why the overall average is so low though, the bell curve is harsh.

With all this backlash I hope Blizzard makes the skins permanent drops after 8/22 and also buyable with currency. There's no reason why these skins should be limited. However, if they do get made permanent, the one summer item per lootbox shouldn't be a thing after the event.

Also, what was the point of saving up currency.

The only reason I think people should be slightly let down is because we're judging the entire outfits on the low detail sprays/stickers and assuming that's it. Like Mei just in a blue tank with shorts or Reaper in just a gray normal ass hoodie. I wanna wait till I see the full designs before I can say I'm actually let down by them because Tracer's looks a lot snazzier in her full render.

I don't like that they're a set of themed skins. I expected every character to get an actual unique new skin, not 22 skins based on the exact same idea.

Every match was fun, I was a big fan of the Titan system, etc. It was probably my favourite multiplayer FPS for that year. But after like, a month in, I stopped playing, and I have no idea why.

Yeah, that is probably something that should be pointed out. These skins are for an event, so presumably they'd always be limited. When they do Halloween skins they'll also probably only be unlockable during that month too. When they add in new, non-event skins they'll be just like the others.

I hope Dunkyatta becomes a thing, even though I'm probably not going to get it.

I thought people realized there would be event skins? I mean, after the halloween picture and the leak for several other events? There will be Oktoberfest skins, Halloween skins and Xmas skins. It's like WoW all over again except instead of disappointment of not getting the mount, you get to face the disappointment of not getting the specific characters event skin you want.
