so lucioball is extremely underwhelming, just feels like shitty rocket league, several maps seem to be bugged, and i've gotten trapped in the main menu and forced to relaunch the game twice. and there's Olympics™ brand Olympics™ advertisement all over the place. and 1/4th of my boxes are now guaranteed to be garbage. think i'll just wait this event out. the Rio map could have at least had a section where you have to wade through seas of homeless people and avoid the carcinogens-filled water and the toxic waste, as it is now its not very real life accurate

Best thing about that is the spawns don't change so the defender doesn't have to even try because the payload goes right past the spawn, so they can just shoot the enemy team from spawn while the attacker needs to run half the fucking map to get there.

The fact that you can get dupes of the new items that you can't even buy is horseshit.

i took a break from overwatch for a while and come back to the ana update and this, fucking christ i see mccree is broken yet again even though he was perfectly fine as he was before, and i partook in the age old tradition of "lose 10 games in a row and win none infuriatingly" maybe ill revisit again when they fix mercy to not be useless so i can at least have some fun playing as her

The new skins have voicelines as well, that's cool. Also Jeff mentioned you'd be able to get them again next year, but I hope that doesn't mean there won't be new skins at all.

Now that they've confirmed we'll be able to get the same unlocks next year, I don't really mind the "no currency" approach as much. Sure, it would be nice if we could use our currency, and I hope they listen to our feedback and let us do so, but at least this isn't a case of limit edition items gated by RNG to NEVER be obtained again. It's a bit annoying they didn't give us that information right away though, some of us already spend lots of dosh on loot boxes... But I guess it could also be argued that's our own fault for being in a rush.

After being down at 54 for a week, I hit 61 today. Very happy.

Have opened 2 lootboxes, got 2 icons and a voice line. Not sure what I expected.
