It'd be alright if it lasted a long time if there was really any way to counter it but a decent Genji doesn't really have any counters to his ult. You can't run away because he's faster than you, you can't kill him because he reflects and is a tiny fucker moving very fast and teleporting behind you, you can't stun him (usually) because he's moving too fast to hit with flashbangs (which he can also reflect) and can teleport away from Mei, and you can't block the damage because he runs right behind shields. A bad Genji will flub it more often than not, sure, but there's no way to really counter him ulting if he's decent.

Zenyatta's ult is really the only one that can completely nullify Genji's, but the odds of a Zen actually having his ready at the same time is kinda slim, not to mention Genjis can build their ult much faster than Zen.

I find it so funny that the PR statement done to defend their choice in "rare and special" items just made things worse for them.

Everyone is excited and starts to save up coins. 2. Update releases. With no warning we can't use the coins we saved up. 3. Their reasonings being they wanted these items to be "rare and special" .4. Leave in the option to buy loot boxes. 5. Only guaranteed 1 summer item per crate which can be a spray or voiceline. 6. You still get normal items and duplicate items out of these crates. Even dupe summer items give you coins you can't spend on summer items. 7. The only people that are able to take full advantage of this update are level 1s, Level 100s, and people with a lot of money. Even then because of RNG there is no guarantee that they will get the items they want. and as a added bonus: 8. Calling us entitled for wanting to buy skins with coins. The very same system they added so we can buy stuff we want makes us entitled apparently. You are kidding your self if you really think that this update was more then just a way for Blizzard to get quick Loot Box cash.

I really want American McCree and Mercy's new skin but I'm probably not going to get them based on my luck with crates so far.

I would like to mention that I think the restricted voicelines are almost no different than the unrestricted ones and the sprays are the same images as the avatars, just with a transparent background. Along with only three technical model changes (skinned twice each), the repaints for the other classes, the soccer ball, the field and the skybox. How much are you paying your dev team, Blizzard?

I think they are going to reverse their decision by the end of the event. The backlash is pretty huge. Huge enough to where they had to make a PR statement for it. But then again I don't know Blizzard very well so for all I know they always stick with their terrible decisions regardless of what the players think.

Blizzard vets, don't they have a history of going "Well fuck you guys, we're doing what we want!"? I feel like I got that from some of the WoW expansions and Diablo 3. Please correct me if I'm wrong though, I haven't paid full attention to them as a company to know the full story.
