The argument they made is that the debuff only applied to one target so it wasn't as good as mercy's damage boost because she could boost an all that can hit ALL the enemies :v:

Man I just won a ranked game I accidentally entered instead of Lucioball. Why is this a big deal? It's a big deal because I'm playing on 100 ping, on a Macbook Air 13 with 20-40fps and render scale 50% so i can't see shit at range. I have some shitty ass mouse and 15cm of mouse pad. And am rank 71. I actually won a game with this, if that's not motivating i don't know what is.

I had 2 games yesterday where my team lost because one of our teamates spent most of the game bitching about either our team's lack of focus or how unfair their deaths were over chat while sitting in spawn.

She can only heal or damage boost one person at a time and is committed to that while doing it, and has a rez if she's still alive while other team members are dead. Lucio can heal or speed boost the entire team at once while still doing damage and disrupting the enemy with his knockback, plus his ult can provide the team with massive damage resistance for a time to prevent deaths in the first place. Zenyatta can heal one person and put a damage booster on a single enemy at the same time while still doing damage, plus his ult makes him invincible and provides strong healing to the entire team to prevent deaths in the first place.

I now own all 3 summer legendarys in the versions I like. Thank you RNGod.

The other heroes (cough lucio zenyatta) are way better at healing and keeping the team alive. They're also able to completely negate wombo combos and stay alive while a mercy has to stop healing early on - hide and then rez. Her rezing isn't reliable either, as heroes can get caught out of her ult range or she gets killed before she gets to do it

Genjis are just not fun to fight against. Tracer feels manageable, you just need to be able to land a heavy hit (like 76's helix rocket). Genji, on the other hand, has such a stupidly strong and versatile kit, that he seems to get away from almost any situation.

Genji wouldn't be a huge problem as well if he wasn't able to reflect roadhogs hook. That's pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

Her ult takes longer to charge now, and with transcendence being buffed it's easier for Zen to use it to prevent the team being wiped instead of waiting for them to be wiped and being ressed, while being able to dish out considerable damage and the usefulness of discords utility. Lucio has the best survivability of all the healers; being fast, hard to hit, and with healing song he will have a constant healing on himself. Speed song is incredibly useful as well, using it with amp up can allow teams to rush past choke points and is also useful to escape ultimates. Even without being amped up, speed song is incredibly useful for some quick re-positioning and chasing weakened enemies who are trying to flee. As a Lucio main, I love seeing friendly Reins go ham on the enemy with his hammer while I have speed song playing. It allows him to catch up to backpedaling enemies trying to flee from his wrath. All Mercy can really do is just heal people and make one player slightly stronger, but not at the same time of course. I didn't even mention Ana, who has better burst healing for a single target, and the utility to shut down certain ults with sleep dart, and her ult is great for team fights.

I actually think that Mercy has been out of the meta for so long now that she's pretty decent again. I've lost a number of games due to the enemy team getting an unexpected res that we weren't prepared at all for. Pre-nerf you would plan a push around a res but nowadays it's such a rarity that it can throw you off.
