Playing comp is like playing rollete, winning takes entire load effort which can be screwed by a single mistake.
Hell, someone should make a bingo card with all stuff which can appear and fuck up entire game, like ana with shrike skin instapick, hanzo lv25, support with gold on eliminations etc
Personally im stuck on rank 58 as well and the amour of people who allready hit rank 60 and now just having fun ruining teammate's game is increasing...
just did my placements and got 61
feels great. too bad i can never ever play again out of fear of deranking.
To be completely fucking fair at one point there is no really anything I can do, I just had a match on Volskaya where the enemy team capped both points in less than two minutes.
One moment I'm at the main gate shooting a Lucio, then I go to the point because there were 2 people on it just to realize my entire team was wiped (somehow).
I want to play this game with similarly skilled people, not with the expectation I either carry the entire team or I lose.

Like at this point I dread golden medals, because if I have them it doesn't mean I'm doing well, it's everybody else who's doing terribly.
Had so much of a losing streak today that I dropped from rank 60 all the way to rank 50. Feels fucking terrible.
What's worse is that now that I'm such a low rank, I keep getting paired with people who refuse to cooperate, and it's only making my rank worse. Someone get me out of this hell hole.

I finally realised why i hate Lucioball now.
Having the knockback is frustrating as fuck + the ultimate next to a goal.
Wanna play goalie? Well have fun having somebody glued on you and ready to push you as soon the ball comes.
Reading some of these comments about ranked makes me remember when I played League of Legends and got stuck in Silver 1 for like forever, then I decided that I won't waste any more of my time on that game, because climbing higher means more time needed to play the game every single day, I'd literally need to be fed through the tubes and shit into a bucket underneath my ass to climb ranked then I'd need to replace my blood with coffee, plus hire a shrink to stay sane.

Also you can be pretty much certain that you lost the match when you hit the tab at the end of first round and see gold on number of eliminations while playing support which is [b]ONE[/b]

Everytime I am playing Lucio and everybody ignores the 20hp player running away and I have to kill it myself it makes me so fucking mad
getting pretty sick of comp matchmaking
why is it that matches of apparent equal team skill level have one of two outcomes: 1) we stomp 2) we get stomped
im considering waiting until season 2 when the new system is brought in

the scary thing is thats' not how the system works.
There's just too many people thinking they are playing Quick play while in competitive matches at 50 and lower. Its' horrible.

Just keep playing and you'll climb eventually. It's faster with friends though.

I've been playing with the same group of four other people for the past three days. The first two days I climbed from 50 to 55. I'm now at 52.

Well it's not that she's bad, it's just that Zen & Lucio are too good.

Ana is objectively the best healer right now, on a single target at least. She can heal a tank from critical to full in a few seconds.
Ana is good on attack as long as the three other people on your team are Genji, Reinhardt, and McCree and they're not awful.

I have in a lot of games as Ana healed more than any Zen, Lucio or Mercy. I don't play her as a sniper at all though, I run around among my teammates healing them, and using my skills to deny ults and flankers.
I think playing her as a sniper is the wrong way to play her

It's situational. In some maps yeah you're gonna want to be in amongst everyone. But in more open maps like Gibraltar her sniping ability is very useful; there can often be team mates above/below you or far away. It also allows you to stay a safe distance from chaotic fights and deal damage more easily since unscoped is projectile while scoped is hitscan.
I think if you never use her scope you're not using her to her full potential.

She has the best single target healing in the game, and her DPS after the fire rate change is insane. Not to mention the support she can provide with her grenade/sleep dart.
