I'm more curious as to what mod he's using to add pouches and stuff to his armor, anyone know what mod that could be?
That looks really dumb though, just reminds me of that big fuck from Battleborn with the tiny head.
No what's dumb is making the helmet so big that it clips with the base suit, like the T-60 does near the breast plate and the pauldrons. More or less I just liked the see-through visor v:v:v It also comes down to scale too, while the vanilla helmets look "correct" in proportion to the suit itself, it's not with the actual user. Look at that image. Where the edited helmet's eyes are, the users eyes in the vanilla helmet would actually be below the visor, would it not?

[t]https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/17297-1-1470918224.jpg[/t] I MEAN LOOK AT THAT MIDDLE IMAGE. :v: Giant fuck huge body, teeeeny tiny head.
Well, I don't deny it's got it's problems, it just always irked me how parts of the power armor models clip into each other, and how like I said, if you're getting into a T-60 helmet, your eyes are actually below the eye visor in the vanilla helmet. I also like see-through visors v:v:v
I'm more curious as to what mod he's using to add pouches and stuff to his armor, anyone know what mod that could be?
The author states it's something he did for his personal use that he may release in the future. I think it's pretty cool too.
Anyone know how to move saves and preferences and stuff over to a new drive? Finally picked up an SSD, but I can't get my saves or my preferences and mod order to move over to it from my main drive.
Maybe I should've released it tomorrow since I'm going bed now but whatever! -Link- And yes, ~blue tape~

That looks ridiculous. Speaking of looking ridiculous, I got a shocking 2 or 3 hour block to do non work related modeling and blocked out the Wattz. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21161113/random/wattz_wip1.jpg[/t] Those wires are incredibly huge and go like half a foot out like elephant ears, I think I'm going to have to make some artistic reinterpretations to make it work for more then a 100x50 thumbnail recreation. Also I'm probably going to make the MF cell like a magazine conversion thing that hangs from the bottom or something since there's no reference for how those things were loaded. Thoughts: What if I made it E-Cell based, and/or use multiple energy ammotypes (e-cell/MF cell/Fusion Core), scaling base damage based almost completely off of the ammo used instead of the receiver? I don't want to make this gun just an energy reskin of the base rifle, so I'm open to some crazy shit as long as its fun and balanced. E-Cells should be something that could be implemented, adding it to the leveled lists as an energy equivalent to say 10mm and making it easily converted to/from MF cells at a workbench.
Anyone know what the 700mb update just added? Just noticed it downloading now, can't seem to find a changelog at all though.

Nevermind, found the change log a page back.
Anyone know what the 700mb update just added? Just noticed it downloading now, can't seem to find a changelog at all though.
According to this post, it's "general optimization". From the files, they modified the Animations and Meshes BA2s. It seems like they changed some animation thing relating to the new store counters they added in 1.7, but I'm not sure what that actually does in practice. They also made some sort of change to a lot of other meshes, but it seemed like the same files were modified in the original 1.7 update, so it might be just be reverting an accidentally shipped set of changes, or it might just be a continuation of the changes made then. Considering that, all they might have done to the Fallout4.exe is update the version number, but it's hard to say for sure.
See this is a perfect example of why sometimes aesthetics trump realism. That looks ridiculous.
Like I've said I know that mod isn't that great, but I wouldn't say that honestly, like I said it's a problem of proportion in my opinion. For example. This looks both aesthetically pleasing and realistic to me, or as realistic as a game like this can be for that matter. Then we have the same suit in FO4. [t]http://i.imgur.com/uRyFJz8.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/W8CdgwG.jpg[/t] Basically the same as from the original games, except proportions wise. Everythings there and it's accurate to the original games, but it's fucking HUGE. My reasoning for this is loading screen art from Fallout 2. Clearly the helmet can fit a normal sized head, opposed to Fallout 4's "I'm looking into the respirator" helmets. Don't get me wrong, I like the new power armor system and how well done the power armor is, it just felt like from the very beginning everything was unnecessarily huge. And, again, I know that mod isn't the greatest but it made me remember that loading screen from FO2 so I also felt like it was cool because of that. v:v:v
If there's one thing I really dislike about FO and ES games.. it's the time to figure out which mod is making your game crash
If there's one thing I really dislike about FO and ES games.. it's the time to figure out which mod is making your game crash
LOOT is pretty good at sorting that shit out.
I booted up New Vegas to play for the 10,000th time For whatever reason, Purified water doesn't heal, it just says "FRESH" under it's status conditions I'm too tired to figure this shit out, it's been like a solid year since I played anything but I have no idea what mod is behind this nonsense

You can go into the mod options and turn it back on

It's been so long since I've played new vegas maybe not the smartest choice to play with more but I figured Project Nevada is the only gamechanginf one I have so it should be okay
I'm so glad the highest my mods list ever gets is like 15 and I uninstall after I finish one playthrough. I always get to start vanilla and slowly start piling ontop of the like, 5 or so essential mods I have as I go on so I never have any of those "OH GOD WHY ARE THE CLOUDS SHREK" moments where I have to go delete shit so that I can play the game semi-regularly.

Ewwww. :disgust: Personally I'm just waiting for F4SE to update AGAIN. Stupid Bethesda released a small update on like the 10th (which F4SE updated) and now on the 13th, why? It's my free weekend, I want to play!

How big can the guns get?
If you're using Project Nevada it disables food healing by default. You can go into the mod options and turn it back on
What the hell, who thought that was a good idea?
What the hell, who thought that was a good idea?
People that think that the amount of stimpacks a player can stockpile already makes the game easy enough and that food healthing just makes things more ridiculous also with food healing it suggests that a damn good salad will heal your bullet wounds more than a drug that will instantly regenerate cells.
LOOT is pretty good at sorting that shit out.
The thing with my situation is that loot and FO4edit both come up perfectly fine. I've already spent 2 or 3 days trying to figure out which one is causing the crash

So apparently Nuka World's size is about a GB more than Far Harbor. https://www.reddit.com/r/Fallout/comments/4xhwpm/nuka_world_size_is_366_gb_1_gb_bigger_than_far/?st=irtbjgsp&sh=365343b1 Hopefully that means it has about the same amount of content as Far Harbor (Or maybe even more).
