Also not sure if it's Spring Cleaning or Place Everywhere, but for some reason Preston is now able to be Scrapped for me. Must have did something, other things work fine. And yes I scrapped for experimenting. I'm trying to figure out how to fix it though. Preston functions normally, can talk to him etc. and able to turn in quests I'm sure. I could probably move him to another settlement by getting him to be my companion and move him that way. Problem is, I just can't assign him to anything in workshop mode.. This gives me the impression that the writing could range anywhere from thematically tight and emotional, to confusing try-hard trash. but in the end what probably matters most in a mod's story is decent voice actors and high quality subtitles.

Narratives require a certain suspension of disbelief and tone that if shattered or made obvious, fucks it up. I could get past skyrim's voice acting because it at least sounded normal to me. It didn't matter that every 5th dude sounded the same because the delivery was decent enough for me to think, "this is a person in a world". If I hear a bad arnie or shadow the hedgehog impression then my brain immediately reminds me that I'm playing the video game equivalent of a freddie wong video. The worst part is that this sensation will happen [I]repeatedly [/I]due to amateur level design (both aesthetics and flow wise), inconsistent writing/subtitles ([I]DO NOT[/I] capitalize compounded words "MidSentence... ~ugguu~"), and an over-reliance on scripted set-pieces (that typically fuck up due to how papyrus works), and awkward design decisions that many mods seem to suffer from. maybe i'm just a big meanie but i'd rather have a perfect 5-60 minute quest that took 5 years to develop than a 5-30 hour shitfest of a quest line that took 5 years to develop [editline]15th August 2016[/editline] point is: i don't give too much of a flying fuck if you wrote Much Ado About War and Peace, if you type like a 5 year old and chose comic sans as your font then i'm just going to read a tom clancy novel instead
Project Brazil was pretty amateur, and outright cringe worthy at a lot of points. I have to wonder if the devs realized this and tried to re-write the first portion but I'm getting the feeling that will never happen.
