Does anyone know if crafting recipes can require actual bits of junk instead of the components that make up the junk?
Like instead of requiring "Aluminum" it could require "Surgical Tray" or instead of "Oil" it would need "Gas Canister"

Yeah, they can. You can make crafting recipes require pretty much any item.

Neat, thanks :)
I'd get started on the Docs but I'm horrible with formatting :v: I figured once it gets started everyone can tweak with it until something nice is found
One more question, anyone have a decent guide for importing models & textures into FO4?

Here's a few I grabbed quickly from that post I did a week or so ago for the guy trying to get a custom workbench in the game;

Not sure if they're all relevant, but you should be able to search for similar videos. There's not a ton of information out there unfortunately
Hop into the FP fallout modding discord if you want, I'll talk you through things:

Awesome, thanks man! I'll get on the discord this weekend if I need some assistance. :)
I've been trying to remember where I've seen the crococlaw before.

It was going to be an enemy in Tactics 2.
Nuka Cola Power Armour, +3 Agility with all pieces equipped, T-51f for me at Level 45.
Ahahaha what
Bethesda posted a nice stylized pamphlet map of Nuka-World.

The wonders of mixing voice actors.
The wonders of mixing voice actors.
it's the same voice actor.
I haven't seen this brought up yet, but I thought I'd ask.
Are there new baseball bat materials/colours in Nuka-World? In the trailer there's a brief shot of a yellow baseball bat, and it'd be interesting to see if there's anything else like it.
[sp]there are 3 new bat "materials" called weighted paints, they come in blue, yellow, and pink. They significantly increase the bat's weapon damage to around 70-100 without any melee perks.[/sp]
Are Deathjaws as easy to kill as Deathclaws, or are they a harder fight?
[sp]they're called "Gatorclaws" and they're as strong as death-claws when it comes to damage output, but they're slightly faster and more squishy health and defense wise.[/sp]
How many new enemies are in the DLC besides the ones they revealed in the trailer?
[sp]if we're counting the different robot re-skins, we have Galatatron, Novatron, Space Handy and Gutsy, Space Sentry, Mr.Frothy, Nukatron, Cave Crickets, Bloodworms, Ants, Ant Swarms, Nukalurks with Hunter, King, Queen, and Spawn variations, Alien Turrets, Bramiluffs with other Short horn and Longhorn versions, Blue Deathclaws, painted ghouls, Gator Claws, Gazelles though i haven't seen a live one only a corpse in a screenshot, Ghoulrillas, and Rad Rats.[/sp]
it's the same voice actor.
By 'Mixing' I mean pulling the same actors voices from different sources.

Ever since I saw that car commercial, I hoped someone would mix it with Fallout 4, just never thought it would be done in such an amazing way.
By 'Mixing' I mean pulling the same actors voices from different sources.
we have to mix preston garvey lines from somewhere, quick dig up voice acting reels

Now we need a mod to replace the Prydwin, Vertibird, or that car with a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
But this is just perfect.
by the way, following from what i've heard earlier on this thread, i've found that good old bethesda certified lore murder power armor
[sp]you need to find a bunch of "star cores" around the galactic zone to even unlock the case where it's kept, so it definitely is pre-war[/sp]

STOP YOU FOOL
If there wasn't issues related to NDA I'd stream the new DLC, theres so much.
There's apparently new perk ranks (not sure if confirmed)
[sp] Attack Dog 4: When adventuring with your dog, you take 10% less damage.
Awareness 2: Knowing their weaknesses lets you attack more efficiently. 5% increase to hit chance and damage dealt to VATS targets.
VANS 2: +2 Perception
Ghoulish 4: Rad damage will now begin to slowly heal, restoring health in the process.
Mysterious Stranger 4: The Mysterious Stranger appears more often in V.A.T.S. When he kills an opponent, there is a high chance your Critical meter gets filled.
Quick Hands 3: Quick and efficient. You gain 10 additional Action Points.
Steady Aim 3: Hip-fire damage is improved when firing any gun. [/sp]
do companions have unique dialogue? or is it just some characters?
You know you could make a pretty decent Bioshock character with some of the stuff in this game. Especially with the new raider armor in Nuka World.

with an infinite leveling system i don't think they'd add what sounds like the most useless perk in the game

[sp]they did[/sp]
do companions have unique dialogue? or is it just some characters?
Apparently only [sp]Preston and Strong[/sp] do.
Ghoulish 4: Rad damage will now begin to slowly heal, restoring health in the process.
Oh god it's not useless now. Radiation junkie roleplay here I come.
There's also only one new companion:
[sp]Remember that raider with the yellow armor and eyepatch in the trailer? Well that's the new companion, and his name is Gage. He seems able to be romanced. Don't know any information on his max affinity perk.[/sp]
