i can't help but notice every time i sleep with Curie i get a new disease when i wake up but obviously it's not like an STD or anything (though one time I actually did get Infection) it's usually things like... lethargy or insomnia
Oh man, Nexus Mod Manager has an issue where it fails to check some mods for updates and I've been running with outdated mods for the past two months. :ohno:
they said they fixed that and I trusted them [sp]they didn't actually fix it though[/sp]
I'm trying to build you a fucking wall to protect you. Will you stop fucking walking into it non stop Preston?
It's just a reload animation. It's completely trivial.
No. It's as retarded as saying "weapons viewmodels are trivial in a first person shooter".
there is literally no other reason for the lever rifles reload animation than laziness

Giving you too much of her third arm.
Pictured: All the useless / "artsy" lights I pulled out of the opening Cryogenic room. They'd have shit that was tripled up to increase intensity when 1 can easily do the job.
The reason they do this is because it's the only way to make environments look properly lit - there don't see to be many shadow casting lights in the game at all, so they have to position a bunch of non-shadowing lights all around the environment to avoid obvious areas where there should be shadows and aren't. It's something I'm running into with the vault I'm making.

When I'm done editing the Vault111 Post-Cryo interior, anyone wanna try it out and tell me what they think of the changes?
Ugh, is there a compatibility mod for Contraptions? I used one that supposedly is good for all DLC with options for an integration mode (doesn't work) and a [DLC] tab which does work, but it also kills Functional Displays, OCD and Cages.
Is Fallout 4 worth buying? i honestly don't know what should i buy since i have most of the games i want on steam...
Is Fallout 4 worth buying? i honestly don't know what should i buy since i have most of the games i want on steam...
Yes. As long as you don't go in with expectations of Fallout 4 completely surpassing all of the previous titles, and you are able to overlook some pretty crap writing, you will have a great time and it's definitely worth buying.
Is Fallout 4 worth buying?
Have you ever played the previous 3D Fallout games? Did you enjoy them? If yes, probably.
Is Fallout 4 worth buying? i honestly don't know what should i buy since i have most of the games i want on steam...
If you don't have New Vegas buy New Vegas instead.
If you don't have New Vegas buy New Vegas instead.
That depends on what you want. If you want story and good dialogue and choices, go for New Vegas. If you want actually good combat, go with 4.
Have you ever played the previous 3D Fallout games? Did you enjoy them? If yes, probably.
I dont think this is particularly true, the previous 3d games had terrible combat but good story/rpg elements and Fallout 4 has good combat and terrible story/rpg elements. And seeing as no one enjoyed F3 and NV for the combat... Just pretend it's a shooter (because it actually is) and you will have a lot of fun Don't remind yourself it was supposed to be a RPG or you'll get annoyed by how basic and limited it is
That depends on what you want. If you want story and good dialogue and choices, go for New Vegas. If you want actually good combat, go with 4.
But I hated New Vegas :v:
That depends on what you want. If you want story and good dialogue and choices, go for New Vegas. If you want actually good combat, go with 4.
How is New Vegas combat bad? They are way better than the broken fallout 3 combat. New Vegas is a straight upgrade from fallout 3 mind you, it has good combat/story/choice. Fallout 3 stand no chance against New Vegas.
How is New Vegas combat bad?
because gamebryo is bad for shooters throwing confetti over shit makes it prettier but it still stinks

A shiny brand new 45-70 revolver mod. [t]https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/15437-0-1466544415.png[/t]
Yes i played previous games too.
Whoever gets the Vault DLC when it enters beta please crush or make my dreams of a vault door closing animation. Waiting on that before i start messing with vaults in the Geck

[editline]25th June 2016[/editline] [[Triggered intensify]]
Well NV combat isn't bad but it's definitely not as responsive or tight as F4. Would still rather take a good story with actual choice than just good combat though.
Well NV combat isn't bad but it's definitely not as responsive or tight as F4. It amazes me how Bethesda managed to take so many steps backward from the formula laid out in 3 and NV, whilst also improving drastically in one narrow but core area (gunplay)
I still feel that melee combat was woefully underdeveloped in Fallout 4. Unarmed was one of the best builds in new vegas thanks to the variety of powerful power-fists, perks and Special attacks you could find and learn throughout the game. In fallout 4 there is something like 3 unarmed weapons, and hand to hand combat never really progresses beyond standing in-front of the enemy either spamming power attacks or lining up hits in VATS.
A shiny brand new 45-70 revolver mod.
with the amount of bloody 1911 mods on the nexus, I'm honestly wondering why are revolver mods non existent where are my .500 nitrofuck s&w's and my single action armies, you nexus modders I mean, this is the only game which actually allows revolver rifles to be made thanks to the revolver pipe rifle animation subset and (other than that extended modification one which does not even use it) NONODY EVEN BOTHERED MAKING THAT

Coming from new vegas, it was pretty..low. I know most of the unarmed weapon in NV were just unused by most of the community, but it feel good to have variety even if nobody use it (Having weapon just to have weapon literally, why people see this thing as bad when in fact it's good?) Same thing about melee can be said. When you see that Obsidian really tried to make perks and weapon style more distinct to each other so there is a reason to use them (The removal of big guns was for this reasons), bethesda's try was pretty cheap. .. Coming from the company that mades The elder scrolls Morrowind and Oblivion..

Waiting on that before i start messing with vaults in the Geck
Luckily I don't need a closing animation for mine because the Glowing Vault door closed and never re-opened - the bomb didn't breach the door, it breached the prefabricated vault pieces like walls and ceilings. There's going to be a trail of bodies from the door to the interior of the vault.
