So far maxed out relationship with Codsworth and McCready,Getting Nick Valentine to Tag along was kinda dissapointed it doesnt seem like you can get him to change oufits was hoping to get him to wear The Yellow Trenchcoat to match my Silver Shroud Outfit.
Also I think I will start setting up mannequins in an unused settlement and dress them as people I have killed.
[editline]22nd August 2016[/editline]
Also It seems that despite the fact that I repel attacks on a settlment they manage to trash the place anyways.
In Vualt 88 there is only one way to get to the farm and despite the enemies dying well before that I still have to go and repair all the corn.
I think there's a mod somewhere to let Valentine wear other clothing, I've seen screenshots of him in the Silver Shroud coat.
wow calm down. Take a joke.
He's been trying very hard to learn English for some time and gets misunderstood/banned a lot for it.
People shouldn't shit on him for errors like that especially when there's people on this forum who routinely fuck up when English is their first language.

I haven't found any of them personally.

I've only found one so far and that's in the [sp]bottling plant, its on the side of one of the houses in the western part[/sp]
So I went to start playing FO4 again because all this stuff about the new DLC got me interested and I loaded up my game and the R91 mod I have is broken for some reason. the version I had was up to date but I re-installed it anyway and it still doesnt work. The gun is gone from my inventory and I cant find the item id through the console. Anything I can do or will I just have to make do without?
Hah found it, just noticed it actually gives you rough quest markers for where they are after you run around like an idiot for a while.
[editline]23rd August 2016[/editline]
Also I found all the star cores, legit. :excited:

Is the mod manager you're using up to date? Depending on when you last played, the way mods are loaded might have changed.
So how hard would the creation kit be to understand for someone who made TF2 items back when you had to compile everything yourself?
I want to make a settlement mod to give them more importance and personality, make it worth building them. Basically you meet a faction member, invite him to your settlement, build stuff related to that faction, he gives you little quests and cool reward, that kind of stuff.
Like a Hubologist that would need a research center, makes you find proof of alien contact, and in the end gives you the F03 style alien blaster that the alien automatrons use in nuka world (which is currently unobtainable and bugged as fuck when you spawn it.)
So that, but applied to multiple factions.
I've been modding almost every game I've owned for almost ten years and trying to make a helmet makes me want to kill myself.

Woop, finding the cores was actually easier than I thought it would be, the ones outside the zone are in common places.
I'm in a massive predicament for the story quests of Nuka World.
[sp]I'm trying to progress through the quests, but I've reached the point where I have to claim a settlement for one of the gangs. Unfortunately doing so makes Preston instantly hate me and lose him as a companion. I own all the settlements already so I can't progress without upsetting Garvey and going against what I accomplished as the Minuteman General[/sp]
So this source has a lot of Nuka World info

[sp]There is a new radio station. DJ is raider and he sings songs about life of raiders, tells life stories and make reports about relationships between gangs.[/sp]
I'm probably the most excited for this feature.

Usually if a companion isn't around they don't care.
Do the settlements in Nuka World count? (i haven't found any so i don't know what they are but i've been told they exist)
Or do you have any left in Far Harbor, maybe?
Also also you could get one from a mod

[sp]The raider DJ, Red Eye, is hilarious. Unfortunately he sings the song himself, and he's *terrible* at it. He also has a lot of rants about how awesome he is.[/sp]

Garvey does care and he's all the way up in Sanctuary. None of the ones in Nuka World or Far Harbour count.
[sp]Shank and Gage both say you have to take territory in the Commonwealth and give you a list of possible ones to take. I own every single one as part of the Minutemen and I don't think a modded settlement will work.[/sp]

Turns out my NMM was outdated. Im updating it and seeing if it fixes it. Thanks!
Now for the big question: where should Fallout 5 take place?

It worked, thanks a bunch!
Now I'm hoping that the maker of the R91 mod uses the reload animation for the new AK when that DLC comes out. It looks so much better than the one it currently uses

idk if you can kill Preston [sp]and the rest of the Minutemen somehow[/sp] but if I can, I'd do it in a heartbeat

The most popular answers are probably going to be New York and Chicago, or somewhere in or near the Core Region.
I'm still going to ask for a Seattle game or a Hawaii game.

I wouldn't mind a Detroit game, especially if they pulled a little twist and had it so the race riots never occurred pre-war, so Detroit was still a really nice city.
edit: it would also be a good excuse to explore Canadian lore, since Detroit is probably the most closely connected place in the States to Canada both geographically and economically

I honestly don't hate Preston as much as others here. I quite like the Minutemen and beat the game using them.
[sp]Just feels real bad to be forced to undo all of that in a second just to complete a DLC. I also get the feeling that even if I didn't already own the settlement he would react the same way since it brings more raider trouble to the Commonwealth regardless. It's going completely against the kind of character I usually play, but I hate being forced out of doing a DLC over something so stupid. God damn Bethesda. They really fucked this up for me.[/sp]
China would be interesting. And/or Mexico.
It'll be interesting to see if Bethesda does the same thing as Fallout 4, and sets the next game in a location mentioned in the previous game, or if they just go somewhere completely unknown.

The only new place in Fallout 4 mentioned in Fallout 4 (that i remember) is Andover. And in Nuka World [sp]it's only mentioned as being a place destroyed by the raider Atlas. At least according to Red Eye, who probably made the whole story up and couldn't even remember the name of the place.[/sp]

"have you seen my cousin? He looks like, kinda, like me. Our skin is the same color."
