I believe pipe weapons are the only ones to use .38 rounds. Unless there's some gun mod i'm forgetting that nerfs the damage to high hell but makes it use .38 rounds.
You can mod receivers on the Hunting Rifle and Combat Rifle to use .38s.
I'm going to replay New Vegas for like the millionth time, but this time with my new monitor, some visual mods, and trying out Project Nevada for the first time. Got it all set up and it was looking great, but now it's almost 3:30 in the morning; but it's all ready for Wednesday. What a great, fantastic game this is.
Nuka World might be my favorite DLC out of 3, NV and 4 tbh I just love being the raider king of disney land, the default factions in 4 are so boring I'm having a great time bullying them Minutemen = helping people, farming, being boring Raiders = partying, riding rollercoasters, getting high with the lads Obvious choice
I know there was a bit of a meltdown last time I expressed disappointment with the nuka-world power armor, but I'm going to go ahead and say I would have greatly preferred another set like this. [t]http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/4/47/Fo3TP_Tribal_T45D_power_armor.png/revision/latest?cb=20131230174035[/t] I never took this suit off while playing fallout 3, It's badass instead of silly, I fucking love it when armor incorporates real skulls and bones in it's design, and stomping around in something like this would really complete the raider overlord theme. [editline]23rd August 2016[/editline]
No DLC can ever beat Dead Money. Begin again.
That's a funny way of spelling Old World Blues
I just like Nuka World because its an area I enjoy and want to stay in, by the end of the 3 and NV dlc I was usually sick of the area and wanted to leave ASAP, pretty much begging to leave the honest hearts map I don't know if there are any buildable areas in NW which is a shame
Seeing far harbor and nuka cola give me hope for the next fallout.... but i don't want to hope and be disappointed again. I had hopes that they would makes an even better, bigger, beautiful and detailed fallout after i played FO1/2/NV, that they would hears most of the complains and improve on those side.. and now for the dlc they just makes them stupidly fun and detailed compared to the base games. It's because they are dlc, i get it, but it means that they know how to do a good fun and detailed RPG (well, not enough with far harbor and nuka cola, but you can see that they immediately regretted their wheel dialog system with limited choice) [editline]23rd August 2016[/editline]
I know there was a bit of a meltdown last time I expressed disappointment with the nuka-world power armor, but I'm going to go ahead and say I would have greatly preferred another set like this. Those robo scorpion were just overpowered, what the fuck, even my energy weapon weren't working, i had to spam grenade at them to kill them. The god damn human test subject were so fucking ridiculous you couldnt believe how salty i was, they were wearing GOWN and they took all my fucking bullet and energy axe! THAT BEING SAID, Old world blue was the ONLY DLC i 100% from weapon to cloth and the sink module to the location and experiment. I discovered every fucking thing. Not like honest hearts. God damn it, i just want to end it as soon as possible when i start it ..
Honest Hearts felt so empty once you completed it.
Honest Hearts felt so empty once you completed it.
Honest Hearts' only has two things going for it really; Joshua and The Survivalist (on top of his sweet gear). That being said, at least Honest Hearts had a more coherent and sensible story than Lonesome Road.

I have happy memories of creeping through through the caves and canyons, hunting shotgun in hand, stalking those special Yao Guais. But man did it get boring on repeat playthroughs. I seriously used to consider Honest Hearts the 'character killer', because I would get so bored and would rather start a whole new game than commit to finishing it.
I actually didn't like any of the New Vegas DLC. Honest Hearts had terrible visuals and an uinteresting story that had little to do with the Fallout universe for me. Dead Money was annoying untill you came into the casino. Once you get inside it's alright. Old World Blues, I have no words, painful dialogue and absurd story. The surgery stuff like getting a titanium skeleton (?) was pretty rad. Lonesome Road was okay, but Ulysses himself was just so strange. If I recall correctly it was one long railroad shooter which isn't very Falloutish. For me, the best DLC ever has been Nuka World.
i really like them tho :( also if you impress the Pack Alpha by [sp]beating a hard speech check and talking down to him (they have a survival of the fittest thing going on, so they follow whoever shows the most strength - the current Alpha, Mason, is HUGE), he gives you a STUPID POWERFUL unique handmade rifle for free[/sp] unique handmade rifle: linked for spoilers
Yeah was going to say its just the Splattercannon with another name as pointed out, still out of all the gangs the [sp]Operators and Pack are the most chill, the Disciples can really go fuck themselves for all I care with their edgy talk "u wan 2 git stubbed in bak m8" Fucking melee takedown them whenever one of those cheeky fucks says that shit to me.[/sp] [editline]23rd August 2016[/editline]
I actually didn't like any of the New Vegas DLC. I'm mixed between if it's better or equal to Far Harbour though, both are really nice [sp]other than the dumb raider story line going off the rails at times, like the Operators when you give them the Bottling Plant they just bitch instead of becoming the Bank of Nuka World which realistically, the Bottling Plant should make them, its got cap tooling for fucks sake.[/sp]
I'm installing mods but does anyone know of any that does the following: Makes armor parts wearable over any clothing. Removes the green outline/texture when you're crafting stuff or looking at in inventory so you can actually see what they look like.

Upon entering Zion they shoot Follows-Chalk, fail every quest and get the map to leave.

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/745/ It has an optional addon ("No Clipping Armor") that forces the armor pieces to use the largest model as well, to minimize (but not entirely fix) the clipping. Found out yesterday that with that .esp you can actually wear combat/metal armor with the baseball uniform with minimal clipping, looks pretty boss. It can make other outfits look a bit too bulky though. Alternatively, Armorsmith Extended or w/e does it as well, but it's so bloated with other useless stuff. That second one I'd like to know as well, I haven't found a mod that removes the green overlay when crafting, which is such a pain for paints and stuff.
Wait, did nuka world come out? I thought it was out in like a week or some shit.
Alternatively, Armorsmith Extended or w/e does it as well, but it's so bloated with other useless stuff.
I'm actually working on an unofficial update to Armorsmith Extended that removes all of the new items, and puts them into two separate plugins (one for items based on vanilla items, and one for custom items made by other mod authors). The only things left in the main plugin are the slot modifications to the base game items, and the extensions to the mods you can apply to them. I also intend on optimizing a lot of the custom items, so that they work better with mods and there's not a load of files that you don't need (like a lot of the meshes). Along with reducing the size of the 4k scarf textures (why are they so big). I'm also going to make a few items based on DLC items, such as gloves from Far Harbor and maybe some hats with hair.
Wait, did nuka world come out? I thought it was out in like a week or some shit.
everyone's playing the leaked version.
everyone's playing the leaked version.
Oh, I didn't know it leaked.
*major spoilers* don't click unless you've beat Nuka-World [sp]So apparently conquering a settlement with the NW Raiders permanently pisses off Preston, effectively making the Minutemen ending impossible? And there's no raider ending either? That's pretty fuckin' shitty, it's like they took the first steps towards implementing new ending and then gave up..[/sp]
[sp]This is the problem I mentioned earlier on, except I already beat the game. I've just opted on killing the raiders cause fuck that shit like.[/sp]
I did a thing
That works for Dead Money more than Lonesome Road.

Whats a good mod that adds camping stuff for survival? Preferably something simple like having a bedroll and maybe campfires. Last time I played I was playing just vanilla survival and it felt weird having saving tied to sleeping, but not having a portable bedroll that I could set up to save with if I needed to.
Are there any mods or anything to alt start as an android?

I think they got lean-to's and campfires and shit too.
