Nope, she doesn't adapt at all really and makes her come off as a bit stupid.

For whatever asinine reason she is actually the worst companion combat-wise to have regardless of form. She has about half the SPECIAL stats of the other companions, no sneak bonus, and somehow looses intelligence from 11 to 5 when she becomes a synth. Total of 29 special points altogether. Meanwhile Dogmeat has 53, Piper has 58, Codsworth has 66, Valentine has 67, Strong has 70, and X6-88 has 98.

Fucking Strong has more Intelligence than Synth Curie.

Actually she's by far the tankiest companion you can get once, until you reach level 107+. The only real downside to Synth Curie is she doesn't have her own gun, so if you want her to use one you have to supply the ammo.
Do some of the SPECIAL stats even matter when it comes to companions? Like her having a low Int is dumb considering she's a scientist but does it even have an effect on game play?

Intelligence probably doesn't do anything for companions since it only affects experience gained which companions don't get. SPECIAL stats that have passive combat effects do have an effect on companions though, like agility actually does affect their accuracy, Endurance affects their health, etc.
Argh... fuck... Got the season pass a while back, and I'm trying to do the Vault DLC and build some shit. Problem is, now there's so much crap in the menus that finding the right prefabs is taking an OBSCENE amount of time.
I mean, Jesus, imagine trying to spell something out in neon, and spending agonizing minutes hunting down each and every letter, as slow as the menu moves.
Is there a workshop/settlement UI mod, to speed things up, or wordsearch to filter stuff, or offer a big non-horizontal window to pick stuff like in GMod? I've been looking everywhere to no avail. Come ON, Skyrim had that expansive UI mod; how could Fallout 4 not have THIS?
Was this posted?

loving the picture with the caps upside down clipping through the floor.
so immersive
I wonder if it would be possible with mods to somehow diversify the bottlecaps so that they're not all nuka-cola.

There's barely anybody making UI mods. The biggest UI mod (DEF_UI) has pretty much been abandoned by the author, though there are a few people in the community that are still maintaining it (though there are still outdated files). That mod never really did much with the workshop menu, anyway. There's a few other still active mods around, but I don't think any of them have done as much as DEF_UI has.
Provided that Fallout 4 is now more or less finished with DLC and UI updates, we should get people making bigger mods, and hopefully people will start working on a proper UI mod again.

What other caps would there be though?
What other caps would there be though?
Sunset Sarsaparilla and Gwinnett both come to mind.
Also possibly locally made post-war caps ? Wouldn't really be out of place to have large settlements make their own caps as currency, if a bit unfriendly to the lore.

wait seriously
why how what
how are these mods available on consoles
wouldn't the 4096x4096 fingernail textures blow up the console
Just a question for those who made their own mods for Fallout:NV: What are some of the invaluable resources? Can't say I got hooked almost too hard for this game :v:.

I think I'm going to make some 8k textures for the VATS bullet models, see how well that goes over on the Nexus

It's not that lore-unfriendly, the series has touched on the idea before- In new vegas there is a quest to disable an old bottle-cap press in one of the old factories because locals have been using it to produce "counterfeit" caps.
Dialogue in the same quest explains that most caps in circulation are actually newly manufactured by factions like the NCR, that send groups into old cola factories and bottling plants to convert them into currency mints, and that they are very careful to control who has access to these means of production.
How do I get Evil Karma before hitting level 50. I need that perk that gives extra melee swing speed, for reasons.
I have a question regarding workshops and containers. I've noticed that some containers I place in my settlements will randomly generate junk, do they all do this? And will this affect any containers that I've placed some of my loot in?
I like how the person's complaining about the texture size
Yeah that'd be me, since 2048² on a model that small is really unnecessary.
Progress on face lights:

Still trying to figure out the internal face glow, and still need to add the other sentry head model, protectrons, and "None" option.
how many "restored sanctuary" mods are there
