Technically the caravans did this in 3/NV. At least I know the caravans and hitsquads in NV moved across the map via an AI package and traveled in real time (or something to that effect).
They wandered around, but they didn't do anything while they wandered Closest thing to this I can think of is that one mod for Skyrim where companions could wander around and clear dungeons on their own in real time.
This is what DLC icons look like in the latest beta patch.
I've had a look at it since that comment, and I can't see any conflicts in the latest version of the download, outside of the obvious changes you made to the worldspace for the Gobi chest. I have made a bunch of fixes for the plug in...
Wow, thanks! Really, I appreciate the help. I'll happily roll your updates in. I'll probably undo the sawed-off change, that one was intentional since it saws off the threading for the attachments. I'll make a note In the readme while I'm adding you in the credits for your help.
This is what DLC icons look like in the latest beta patch.
Finally, the + sign always annoyed me. Hopefully mods will be able to use this too.
This is what DLC icons look like in the latest beta patch.
Good thing about this change is that mods can now start doing this. Unless it's hardcoded like most Bethesda added things tend to be.
They wandered around, but they didn't do anything while they wandered
You sure? I think i remember one of the wandering legion groups ending up dead if their routines took them near searchlight because they would stray and try to attack the group where Astor is. I think npcs still engage and chase each other provided that both groups have spawned in the world at the same time (so it doesnt count for the scripted legion ambush event because they instaspawn for that specific event anyway)
Man I'm excited for this weekend in Fallout 4. Lt_C's classic sniper is coming out, Dogtooth's updated Ranger armors is supposed to be out Sunday. I think its about time I started that new Survival game I've been putting off for some time now.
hes removed it multiple times and put new versions up after my guess is that hes either working on a new one. not like you can't find an alternative, his mod needs A LOT of work and i'm sure you can find plenty of other mods that do similar "make everything green" effects.
The maker of Resurrection has been banned from the Nexus. Apparently not only was he banned before for stealing assets from other mods, but he was caught using stolen assets (specifically some textures from Skyrim mods) in Resurrection. Last I checked you could still find Resurrection in Bethesda.net, although at the time he was already fighting with people accusing him of theft in the comments, so he may have also been reported there.
I'm trying to pack my voice mod into a ba2 for better loading and console support, but I can't get it to load. I have a blank WillFromAFar.esp and I've tried naming it WillFromAFar.ba2 and WillFromAFar - Voices.ba2, but neither works. Sometimes the game crashes after I first enable the mod. How do I get my archive to load?

Y'know what the settlement building and fallout shelter and all that make me want instead? A spinoff title using the original 2 game's style, in glorious isometric, but it's like a fallout city builder instead. I would totally play that.

[editline]a[/editline] Wow that first post made no sense. Teaches me to type while reading something else entirely.
tfw you know preston is about to send you to another settlement and you're just waiting for him to say it [t]https://66.media.tumblr.com/4351bc4cf419d9733052f3ce45e6fb23/tumblr_o9nmka2VW71raj203o1_1280.jpg[/t]

Beth should fuck off the edge of my dick with radiant quests unless they can re-purpose them to makes some sort of weird dynamic world where only the NPCs actually do the quests, so that way the world seems like it's living without the player interacting with it. Hey, that makes for a cool mod idea. Hidden radiant quests the game runs so that it makes NPCs have their own little quests and adventures the player isn't involved with. Maybe a group of NPCs from a settlement try to negotiate peace with a different settlement. Shit like that seems feasible with the Creation Kit quests and AI packages. Might take some work, but it'd make the world cooler.

Damn I want to see some actual footage of this.
I want to see what kind of movement they're using
Looks really really good but until that rather major bug is fixed, its not really usable. He'll run away with all your settlement resources currently.
why the hell are npc's able to touch the workshop inventory at all tbh

Does anybody know of any super-jump and super-speed mods for Tale of Two Wastelands? I wanna play as One Punch Man.
why the hell are npc's able to touch the workshop inventory at all tbh
They can't, his custom AI for some reason doesn't see the workshop as player owned and the items inside are not classified as owned, so he just goes and grabs shit like its inside a normal world container. Basically it was overlooked even though there is a check to say "DON'T LOOT PLAYER OWNED ITEMS, DON'T STEAL ITEMS AND DON'T KILL FOR THEM" but the workshop avoids all of those for some reason, they're working on a fix for it.
They can't
you sure? I had settlers steal weapons and ammo from my storage all the time had raiders steal armor too :v:
Yeah don't put anything you care about in your workshop inventory, it's open to everyone. Put it in a container, I don't believe they have the capability to take from containers.
I want to see what kind of movement they're using
Teleportation It was said by someone who tried it out at e3. Also looking at the display, there appears to be no shadow rendering for the thing. I hope that they get added in later.
Wow, so I was looking through the comment section for New Vegas Redesigned and there was a ton more voice stuff that he had done. (Possible spoilers for NV quests)
I'm fixing something in the original game that annoyed me because it’s laziness and it's unrealistic. In Clanden's room (in the original game) there is blood in his room on the bottom floor. I'm not talking about the room with the dead hooker. I'm talking about his *own* suite there. It's illogical that there is all this blood and it’s so wide open for the public to see. Really dumb and lazy. Here's how it looks in the original game: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_WqsiLWP_nLOWs1cTFJR3hoMlk/view Now I will have a female cleaner there. She won't say anything at first and will mention that she's cleaning the blood there and that it was an accident with the movers. However, if your speech and charisma is high, she'll start to talk about Clanden. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_WqsiLWP_nLQ3JVSjRSenpnQ00/view Your charisma and speech have to be very high for her to say this. Otherwise she'll just say that the blood was from an accident with the movers. ALSO! You will now have an option to talk about that blood with Clanden and you'll see him lie. But if your speech is high, you'll start to see him get flustered. As time goes on, the blood in the room will gradually disappear. So it's like the room is actually getting cleaned. Finally, when you open Clanden’s safe, there is now an audio log where you can hear Clanden killing a prostitute. Keep in mind the audio below doesn't contain the sound effects and Clanden's voice. Also the voice of the female actress may be different in the final product. https://shortcut-test2.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/audition/file_path/146982/mp3_How_little_we_know_quest.mp3 Inside the safe will be disturbing things that paint a picture about Clanden. Finally when you go and confront Clanden, he doesn’t just act stupid and try to shoot you. That was so lame in the original game. Now he acts differently. He threatens you. Basically if you kill him, everyone dies. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_WqsiLWP_nLZzBqMVZMcGZJM0k/view

First, I'm getting a complete revoice of Cachino. You're really going to hate him now. Second, Cachino will mention a few things about Clanden. Hints. Cachino talks about Clanden <--- Third, Cachino's journal will now have audio logs. There will be one audio log showing his business transactions and the other showing him being rude to a waitress. These two audio logs flesh out his character and they are directly related to his journal. Please note that the audio logs here are not complete. The complete product is longer and will have different lines.
Teleportation It was said by someone who tried it out at e3.
I stand by my claim that I won't buy any VR headset until we get motion controllers that have a joystick on one or both of them for regular walking-around movement. Teleportation doesn't cut it for me. [editline]a[/editline] Or maybe foot sensors or something. Anything that allows me to freely move without the jarring "you were there and now you're here" thing we currently get for gamespaces larger than anything Job Simulator hands you.
