Couldn't be assed to restart, I'm not going to release that :v:
Even then I wouldn't release a mod that looks like shit unless you crank up the graphics either
Also funfact, even by automating photoshop to edit all (most) textures in the game the process took about 2 hours to finish
There were only two good DLCs for Fallout 3, the rest were pretty garbage. I mean, Operation Anchorage didn't fit at all, the Pitt was bleh, Broken Steel fixed what was broken with the original ending, Point Lookout was the most substantial, and Mothership Zeta was just aliens.
At least each of Fallout 3's dlc were all 10 smackers and were actual quests in varied locales instead of niche settlement bits.
Also Pitt was good :c

This is what I'm dealing with

I think it would be best to release the files as a modder's resource then if you have no interest in continuing it, at least in my opinion.
I think your thoughts here are well intended but flawed. Take this from someone who plays on a 460GTX and Phenom X4 955. I run on below minimum. The game was not designed for me or people like me, it will not look good or play good on machines similar to mine, the game was designed for a specific set of averages. (The Consoles and the minimum/recommended PC settings)
In other words, its really not your problem nor fault if someone's computer can't handle your work, your mod is also textures. Textures just one of those things that if your settings are lower, will naturally look blurrier and that is not the fault of the artist, that is just the reality of graphical options. The feature suggested, anisotropic filtering is a fairly light performance option that is pretty much standard at least for PC gamers.
I've been looking to try and give the game a more cartoony feel just for fun by changing all the textures
This was my first quick and dirty attempt, most of it looks like ass but some of it I thought was a neat enough effect to show

Probably going to try something different next, even if I tweaked it to look better you can barely see the difference at a distance, it's all a jumbled mess of washed up textures and black spots
You know I joked about Fallout 4 and it's gun and RPG system makes it feel more like a grounded Borderlands. But these images really sell the idea.

Hello
It's basically done just needs importing into the game files. The fact that we're like 8 months in and still don't have publicly available official mod tools is really not helping. I've been putting it off so I may as well take a whack at it in nifskope and see if I can get it working ingame

I'm still waiting for animation tools so I can finally make a pump action shotgun :pudge:
Assigned some lights to a trigger because I missed matching them up before, and the Cryo version elevator works now. Hopefully that works for the Prewar one as well.
Thankfully I re-designed the proportions of the gun to (nearly) match the 10mm pistol so I think I can basically just do a mesh/sound/stat replacement type of deal to get it working, hopefully

Well I'll give you this, the environment was turning out quite decent.

Can you make it so it only does inside edges, and not the edges of the texture itself?
So I made a cowboy-looking character because Covadonga is putting out a couple of Wild West-y weapons. Basically going for a spaghetti western Magnum PI.

Vague backstory I have in my head is that he was a pre-war actor in spaghetti westerns who secured a spot in Vault 111 through shady dealings with Vault Tec officials, and after the war is trying to remake himself as one of the heroic, fearless characters he used to play on TV. I'm super happy with how he turned out.
Also Pure Atmosphere ENB makes for a nice western look

Well, Bethesda did supply a nif exporter for 3ds Max 2013 x64 with the Creation Kit, but that's obviously limited to that specific version of 3ds Max. I don't think there's anything else that can help other than what Lt_C posted here.
I think that exporter is the model tool we've gotten from Bethesda in a long time, though. I can't remember if Morrowind or Oblivion had anything with their Construction Sets, but I'm pretty sure that all the games after Oblivion didn't come with anything for models.
Can you make it so it only does inside edges, and not the edges of the texture itself?
Usually does, but UV layouts vary and making blanket edits across all textures like this is not at all reliable nor predictable. Could definitely fix that manually
Does anyone know if there's been any progress on FROST?
I didn't ever play DUST because I don't play NV for the combat but I want to do a John Cena melee run where I just beat the shit out of everyone in FO4 but I can't kill half the people in the game.

Apparently updates are posted on /r/fodust. Expect it to be a while though.
also i wasn't aware that FROST had a version of Begin Again as a title theme and that's really cool
I'm still sour that I'm unlikely to ever get invited to even the last few DLC betas. It feels like I've been waiting for ages to see that one exciting message in my email, and it hasn't ever arrived.
I wonder if the effect on the chameleon deathclaw could be replicated to give people the cel-shaded look without making them look like they have vitiligo.
Immersive Radiation Burns Mod
but i don't see any x-01??
So while the main branch of f4se gets updated, is using the beta one perfectly fine or only to be used for the beta branch of Fallout 4?

Beta branch is working fine for me.
Wish I could remember what mod I installed which is making NPC's run away while I am in power armor...

More often than not the beta version is the one to use whenever an update hits the non-Beta Fallout 4.
