I wanted to see how bad input lag could get with fallout4, as there will always be some because the game is always vsynced, and vsync causes input lag when a game is running higher that that sync rate.
Currently, with 60hz refresh rate on a 980ti with an i5 2500k at 4.0ghz, I get roughly a quarter second input lag. Not a quarter of a milisecond, not a quarter of a centisecond, a fucking [I]quarter of a second[/I] input lag.
Good fucking luck playing on even normal difficulty with that input lag. And you can't even disable vsync because Bethesda relies too much on it for most of their game logic :v:
I still find it amusing how they cut being able to have more than one follower but still left dialog in the game's files for having more than one at a time.

Just like how there are death yells for children in Skyrim, even though you can't kill them. Maybe they wanted or knew modders might add that in.
Speaking of, what is the legality of allowing Killable children mods on Beth.net (if it's even allowed)? Will that turn their video game from an M game to an AO game, seeings how Beth.net is technically official?

iirc there's a thing saying Beth isn't responsible for the content of the mods
nudity is only banned because someone would get mad at them about it, whether it's legally their fault or not
There's quite a lot of content left in the game files that either works fine, or doesn't take much work to fix/recreate. I found a lot of weapon mod models while I was making my mod, and there was only a few of them that I actually had to fix. Some of them are just Bethesda using the wrong models for the ingame items, but a lot of the others just seem cut for no reason.

ESRB is a private company, so legal as fuck, also pretty sure fan made content no mater what doesn't effect the rating

Seeings how there isn't any killable children mods on beth.net, nobody has uploaded one (highly unlikely) or mod makers of the mod are pressured to remove/ the mod was taken down from the site

I thought Bethesda doesn't like obsidian anymore?
Do we know exactly what the stipulations of the New Vegas contract were? Like how much money did Obsidian get, what percentage of the sales, content restrictions/requirements etc.
obsidian said they would love to go make fallout again so its not because they got jipped a bonus. one of the main obsidian guys said its most likely never going to happen. this leads to one thing only. since obsidian wants too but bethesda doesnt, it means they know they will set to high of a standard
With automatron DLC is it possible to replace settlers with robots? Can they do the jobs? I might make red rocket 100% robots if so
You can assign robots on supply lines, water, food so yeah
Some sources on all these claims about obsidian's potential to make/not make a new fallout would be great.
