Anyone know something like IWS but for FO4? I tried War of the Commonwealth, started a new save and as I strolled out of Sanctuary I had to TGM 2 times because it threw power-armored Forged squads and glowing ones at me.
Tell that to the hot coffee mod.
That was like 10 years ago and technically it was Rockstar's own creation anyway.
so is everyone liking fallout 4?
Nope. Haven't touched it since I beat it a few weeks after release.
so is everyone liking fallout 4?
I managed to get more hours than Fallout 3 and New Vegas combined, and it'll probably still raise, but I really hit a snag with the bugs I've encountered. I'd like to get them fixed before I continue indulging myself.
Any CK users know which condition to use to check if the player has done The Nuclear Option (and which version), or The Nuclear Family?
[editline]13th July 2016[/editline]
Figured it out. You can use GetQuestComplete and find the ID of the quest on the Fallout Wiki, thankfully.

I believe there is also a MQComplete global you could check.
I believe there is also a MQComplete global you could check.
Oh really? Could you elaborate?
Oh really? Could you elaborate?
Use the condition GetGlobalValue MQComplete == 1. This will check if the Main Quest is complete.
There was a 40MB patch yesterday and it seems to have broken the chemistry station and mortar textures. Is anyone else having problems with shit breaking after the update? I don't have any mods installed either.

Ah, thanks! Can't check for what option they went with, that way, however, right?
Do we know exactly what the stipulations of the New Vegas contract were? Like how much money did Obsidian get, what percentage of the sales, content restrictions/requirements etc.
Obsidian was paid a flat fee for New Vegas with a promise of points on top of that if and only if they got an 85 or above on metacritic. Their deadline ended with an 84.

More globals you can use for this are:
- PlayerBOS_Destroyed
- PlayerInstitute_Destroyed
- PlayerRailroad_Destroyed
I'm sure you can get the desired result using these.
Though it might be easier just to do it the way you were, as all the factions have their own final quest.

That's okay, Fallout 4 only got an 84 so Bethesda didn't get a bonus either.
wait, that isn't how it works.

Oh my god, I posted it in the Doom Thread

No reason not to play far harbor, it's good.

It's kind of funny how awkward they are about the classic Fallout 1/2 Vault door. Like they're not allowed to admit somehow that Fallout 3 had games that came before it.

Thanks!
I don't like bethnet
Seems like the interface is crap and hard to find things, and feels like there's not much on it that's good
It's nice consoles can use it for mods but I'm on PC so
Back to nexus I guess

I use the web interface at mods.bethesda.net
search for what i want, click "add to library", and it's all there in the top row waiting for me to turn it on in-game
it's still not ideal but i'm so strongly anti-Nexus that i'm willing to accept it for now

Besides the fact that the place is a hugbox, why?

I guess I'll try this, didn't realize it was an option
[editline]13th July 2016[/editline]
Still im betting it doesn't even closely compare to steam workshop
Anyone here got a solid grip on LOOT? I'm trying to figure the damn thing out but every time I give it the install path it's asking for it just freaks out at me.

What time is that at?

Dumb question: but are you running LOOT from a drive different than the one Fallout 4/nv/3 is on? That can cause odd issues

this looks almost identical to the one ingame
pics?
Not much to really take pictures of, it boots up settings because it can't find the games. I set it to Fallout 4, and I've tried both
G:\Steam_Library\steamapps\common\Fallout 4
G:\Steam_Library\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data
and it still doesn't work. After I select apply it just spits this out
Error code: -1; Invalid game ID supplied.
and from there it just says none of the supported games were detected. A friend suggested updating the master list but it crashes whenever I try that.
Dumb question: but are you running LOOT from a drive different than the one Fallout 4/nv/3 is on? That can cause odd issues
I am, should I try installing it on the same drive?
[editline]didn't work[/editline]
Gave it a shot, same issue persists
yeah the beth.net interface in browser is garbage too
Filters are useless aswell
[editline]13th July 2016[/editline]
Even on console I'd probably go to nexus to find mods then search their names on beth net
[editline]13th July 2016[/editline]
and that's not even mentioning the mods that would be banned from beth.net and can't function via beth.net
Is anyone working on slimming the Marine Armor down?
It looks pretty dope for a hybrid of combat- and powered-armor, but its bulkiness doesn't seem to make sense for marine (water) assault forces. There's a mod out there already to make it lighter, but it'd be nice for the armor to have a slimmer profile.
I know that'd be against the artistic choice, so maybe a standalone option would be a good compromise. "Lightweight" Marine Armor or something. I just can't see troops sneaking up the Chinese mainland shores with this bulk:

Has anyone made the classic fallout 3 vault security armor? I liked it cause it was SWAT-like. Maybe they could port the EDF from Duke Nukem Forever to make a good swat armor... That'd be sweet, especially if they replaced EDF with V-TEC or something on the textures
