Why does the Bethesda.net launcher exist, again? It's a pretty bad program.

presumably because valve said no to doing paid mods and Todd isn't giving up
They're not going to do paid mods.
You guy's mind helping me?
I'm trying to get Fallout Shelter, I've installed the bethnet launcher, start it up, got two icons on the left hand side, one's the creation kit, the other I assume is Fallout shelter, but when I click on it an endless loading screen comes up and I can't do anything.

what's seriously so bad about it, that it's not steam? i must not be having as much trouble with it as everyone else is because just like any other program I start it up and click "play" to play a game and go on my merry way

I looked at the tags to see if anyone would anonymously tell me what it was.

"Cheating"
"Not Lore-Friendly"
"Humor, Joke or Just for Fun"
"Related to MLP"[/sp]
I think I'll pass.

I'm way more worried that valve's gonna dredge up paid mods again than I am that bethesda will.
Alright, version 1.3 of my sniper rifle is inbound this weekend, here's a tentative changelist:
New Barrel - Snub Barrel: All the benefits of the sawed off barrel, but with threading and muzzle compatibility.
New Sights - Standard Military Sights: The glow sights, but without the glow. These will now be referred to 'tier 2' sights
Tweaked the FOV for tier 2 sights, should have a tighter zoom to help negate bloom on the glowsights and DOF.
Tweaks to the leveled lists to allows for more sights and less scopes to spawn on guns at lower levels, and the inclusion of the new mods.
Baked in compatibility with the visible holstered weapon mod. Won't change anything if you don't have the mod installed, but if you do, the standard/marksman's (FO3 configuration) sniper rifle will appear on your back.
Adjustments to ammo counts per caliber, a 10% reduction of ammo for .50 cal, a 20% increase of ammo for .38. Not much of a difference, but better then nothing. A large mag will now hold 12, 10, or 9 rounds depending on caliber.
Tweaked reload speeds for the quick eject mags, should now be a worthwhile upgrade from regular mags without being overpowered.

As the mod author, I've fixed these issues as it seems I have complete control over tags. Oh nexus :v:

When he asked me if he could use my Captain America power armor mod in one of his mods, I didn't know it was the same guy. But when I told him I was updating to include the T45, and he told me he only needed the X01, I knew.
It was the OrionPax20177

Nick Valentine is not immersive enough.
So it seems like the reason why my Structures tab was gone was something to do with the save game, as I disabled EVERYTHING, apart from the Fallout4.esm of course, and it was still missing, new game, same things activated, it's back...don't even know why.

Have you had any mods that add stuff to the menus but specifically require an uninstaller script to be ran before you remove them so it doesn't nuke stuff? I have a few like that and they will remove stuff like structures from the tabs.

Also try out SMH's universal fixer.
Everything else:
Universal Missing Menus Fixer
- Enable the Menu Fixer
- Disable SMH
- Run the Game / Load a Save
- Save the Game
- Disable Menu Fixer & SMH
- Run the Game / Load a Save
- Menus should be back.
- (Optional) Save Again & Exit
- Enable SMH
- SMH Menu should be available.

Valve's gone full Activision, I'm pretty sure if anyone's going to try to bring back paid mods it's them
Yeah, Valve were the ones who proposed paid mods in the first place. I doubt Bethesda will try it again, hell after Horse Armour they stopped doing small DLC until Hearthstone. And Hearthstone and the Workshop DLCs add new systems and a lot of new items, where Horse Armour literally added 8 armoured variants on horses.

Yeah Valve was the one to have the idea, Beth just got blamed because "Valve can do no wrong whatsoever" is still a thing.

You mean Hearthfire. Hearthstone is the Blizzard Card game :v:.
While I am very glad that the Advanced Power Armor Mk. I is once again the Enclave power armor in Fallout 4, in retrospect, I realize I had missed the Hellfire armor because where the Advanced's helmet looked like a wasp's head, the Hellfire's helmet resembles an ant's, and I liked that progression of insect stylization
fallout shelter protip: there's absolutely 0 purpose in upgrading your vault door to give it more health, all it does is delay the inevitable raider entrance

I always thought enclave armor looked like an eagle, And hellfire armor looks like a bulldog.

Perfect for chopping weebs and their katanas in half. I'd love balancing feedback, I've never really played a melee character. On to the magnum rifle!

Any fellow modders, I'd appreciate your feedback on the mod page/files etc. I barely know what I'm actually doing (first mod)

Weird, I always thought the Hellfire armor looks like the head of a pig.
I always thought enclave armor looked like an eagle, And hellfire armor looks like a bulldog.
To clarify, i mean the Advanced Power Armor from Fallout 2:
[t]http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/1/1a/FO2_Intro_APA.jpg[/t] has the helmet that resembles a wasp: [t]http://pre03.deviantart.net/d880/th/pre/f/2014/018/d/3/wasp_s_head___macro_5x_zoom_from_canon_mp_e_65mm_by_davidzavoral-d72nrb7.jpg[/t]
while the helmet from Hellfire Armor in Fallout 3 (Broken Steel):
[t]http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/3/3a/Fo3_Hellfire_helmet.png[/t] looks like an ant's head: [t]http://navajonature.org/images/ants/formicinae/formica-aserva-head.jpg[/t]
That's interesting though, I hadn't thought about the Enclave Power Armor helmet from Fallout 3 (vanilla):
[t]http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/8/88/FO3_Tesla_helmet.png[/t] looking like an eagle's head: [t]http://www.animalspot.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Bald-Eagle-Head1.jpg[/t]
until now. I can definitely see what you mean, with the cheeks and brow sweeping back like the wind-swept feathers of an eagle's face, and the protrusion of the rebreather/mouthpiece like a beak.
Neat!
Did you have to post a big image of a Wasp face? My back wants to crawl off now.
