Playing Fallout Shelter REALLY makes me wish we could send settlers to specific locations picked with your pipboy map or just make them follow you. Tho not as much as making settlements fucking work and not have the game break its ai on its own whatthefuck why is this not fixed yet.
i hope I don't actually have to do the quest to unlock the rest of the underground area cause I want to make something like the underground shanty towns from Metro 2033
At first you have to [sp]kill a Ghoul carrying a doodad that you need to get the Workshop working, then you clear out rubble to get to the bigass open space, talk to a Ghoul lady, clear out the big ass room that has like 5 Ghouls inside it, return to Ghoul lady, then you can build, it's fairly quick really, in terms of unlock the REST of the underground space, there's other Workshops you need to restore, but once you've unlocked those, there's no more green walls between workshops, it's basically one workshop can allow you to build everywhere underground.[/sp]
[sp]You can also just kill her, loot the info off her body and skip the experimentation quest completely[/sp]
Do this. Trust me
Do this. Trust me
Mind you, the quest is also a tutorial, and shows you some objects.
Oh hey look yet another mod by yours truly, Commonwealth Challenges. Except unlike the no effort troll mod I posted last, this mod has been in development for months and actually has some substance to it.
I've been out of the loop, did L0rd0fWar take his armors down? I can't find his Rebel and and Scavenged NCR armor on nexus

EDIT: Actually, now I see why. Nice work!
I've been out of the loop, did L0rd0fWar take his armors down?
IIRC he encountered issues with the tesla armor and couldn't deal with the negative criticism so he called it quits, shut down his profile and removed all mods.
That's unoctium, and he put them back up. L0rd0fWar was upset about mod theft or something.
Oh yeah I misread Scavenged NCR and mistook it for the NCR Ranger armor. It's all stupid drama because these modders can't deal with criticism or bad things happening.
It's time to get stealthy
Payton Quinn is the hero fallout 4 deserves. Shame the other half of his mods is unoctium manchild extraordinaire.
Can anyone in the Vault Workshop beta confirm that the experiments are as shallow/pointless as we're expecting them to be?
So I had heard somewhere that the description of Nuka World changed a bit and there are rumors that becoming a Raider leader are now cut. I was wondering if I could get any confirmation of this, just to know if it's real or fake. https://community.bethesda.net/thread/46828?start=0&tstart=0

https://community.bethesda.net/thread/46828?start=0&tstart=0
this is from the page itself on steam
About This Content Take a trip to Nuka-World, a vast amusement park now a lawless city of Raiders. Explore an all-new region with an open wasteland and park zones like Safari Adventure, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, and the Galactic Zone. Lead lethal gangs of Raiders and use them to conquer settlements, bending the Commonwealth to your will. Nuka-World features new quests, Raiders, weapons, creatures, and more. Enjoy the ride!

Can anyone in the Vault Workshop beta confirm that the experiments are as shallow/pointless as we're expecting them to be?
They're tutorials basically, so stop being a dick about it.
Well, the vault-tec description DID change on steam, but the nuka world one is still the same. I hope they not cut the only appealing point of this DLC
They're tutorials basically, so stop being a dick about it.
How are they being a dick? I don't know about you, But having one of the most interesting aspects about living in a vault, The messed up social experiments, be nothing more than a glorified tutorial when it comes to building your own sounds pretty shallow and disappointing to me. I'm sure it's still going to be fun but damn I was really looking forward to rigging up my terrible vault social experiment. Is it confirmed that they are just tutorials, or just rumours?

This doesn't even really look like water to me. [t]https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/16425-2-1468443585.jpg[/t]
So anyone familiar with modding messed around at all with the NCR ranger gear? I got a major love for those shin guards going on. The models themselves are in the files and there are some references to them in the .esp file. I managed to re-enable them in the crafting menu but they refuse to actually show up in game. The meshes themselves seem set up properly, the textures are applied correctly and they are weighted to the skeleton, they just don't render in game.
So the modding discord invite I posted was a temporary 24h one and expires in 2 hours because I am an idiot, so here's a permanent link that'll work forever: https://discord.gg/AGN9Mmv Got a lot more people in than I expected! Really cool. Lets get modding
Just as I started the final question on far harbor my power supply blew up. That's some really shitty timing i wanted to see what would happen next

It reminds me of dog shit.
It looks like water in a river on a windy day to me?? The thing that probably stops this water, and really any game water, from looking realistic is dynamic murkiness. even the unmodded water there is crystal clear right up to the shore. [editline]18th July 2016[/editline] Okay, actually, watching it in motion, it does look way too reflective of light. I'd prefer something in the middle, because the unmodded water textures in the game are too matte and not reflective enough.
