It's pretty much a reskin of the vault security armors, which came out with transparent visors on their helmets.
Hence why I think the opaque visor was made on purpose.

It varies imo. I'd prefer it if there were a wide variety of colours and dot sizes / styles to choose from though. And choices with the housing of the sight while we're at it too.

You should see if the guy from here that did the DKS will help you insert your gun into the loot lists via scripts or however he did them, I couldn't see them in the lists because of some conflicts. I did a merge patch so they're popping up now, but may be an idea for a future update. :)

Yeah, the script way is the way to go about it because it reduces conflicts and overhead anyway (no need for merged patch).

I was just thinking the other day that making a different gorier reskin of goo piles for when people are killed by them to simulate the spontaneous decomposition effect they were going to have would be one way to replicate them on the effects side of things. Seems like it could be a cheap but effective way to do it.

I cannot believe how big this thing ended up being in-engine lmao. The WIP image of the textured rifle and the first image in this post are currently the fourth (nearly third) highest endorsed image on the nexus right now

Right now the fixed animations are giving me troubles. I've prioritised the position of the hammer over everything else, so the hammer looks good, but not the trigger or left hand position. This means the gun is much further forward than usual. This looks passable in first person, but crap in third.
If I move it to make the hand line up with the grip/trigger instead, the thumb clips completely into the receiver and pulls the hammer inside. I'll try and come up with a compromise, or just use the sawn off shotgun animations and skip the hammer entirely.
edit: sounds aren't final. Planning to have them much meatier
