But they already have a system in place for handling that. The laser musket works in a way where one press of R loads one shot, they could have just used that system.
People tried and it doesn't work, because the laser musket doesn't function that way. You'd also have to fucking mash the button over and over again just to reload shotgun shells which would make the game worthless when any other gun that's not the laser musket requires just one button press. It makes sense in a game like Swat 4 where you'll barely ever shoot a gun but in Fallout 4 ? fuck no
But they already have a system in place for handling that. The laser musket works in a way where one press of R loads one shot, they could have just used that system.
Laser musket's animation system doesn't work like how you think it does, yes it has a loop animation but its designed to work off the user input, press r once, it runs the loop once, hold it and it'll run it until you release it. The game currently, doesn't have a system in place to do this automatically and Bethesda couldn't be arsed to code it in (even though it'd be around 20 lines at most with a basic if statement). What I'm going to assume happened was they made a way of doing it at first but it had a major problem, so they just cut it out and planned to come back to it but development time started to get shorter and shorter so the simple fix ended up going live.
It's not just a matter of running a few lines of code but also how stable it would be to run the reload while doing other shit such as loading in new cells or jumping or pretty much any form of player movement. If NV's system didn't work well and had the weapon basically jam after reloading for as long as five seconds, imagine how garbage it would get in a game that can prevent you from swapping weapons when it's loading outdoor cells, especially on HDD installs.
That actually wasnt it. It was a much older version that made the build limit unlimited. But I guess this will work [editline]29th July 2016[/editline] And he'd probably screech at me for being entitled when the real reason I'm mad is that I've seen large projects and whole modding communities up and die because of people like him. His manbaby egotistic behavior is only good for one thing, and that thing if ruining everything around him.
What did you expect from a modders who make mod that fuck the lore and the game itself, very badly made and imagined that thinks he's better than bethesda, work faster than them. Oh and isn't he supposed to have quitted modding? what an hypocrite. I don't think he was talking about pressing R every bullet, but i have my doubt about if it would be really boring. See the flashlight in Metro: Last light/Metro: 2033 for example, to reload it you have to pump some kind of small generator, and to do that you press R repeatedly.

Huh, and I was gonna post about the same thing :v:
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16896/ Adds barber, schoolroom, lavatory and 3 new bedroom sets for vault rooms, neat.
decided to give fallout 1.5 a go. terrible writing, some decent scenes mostly open and empty. overall having a great time with it anyway until it crashed in classic fallout 2 fashion.
Main texture almost done. On to texturing the mods now [t]https://i.gyazo.com/50b72e31c1e91a50e8f73800ed2f1a8f.jpg[/t] [t]https://i.gyazo.com/ee33ff830bad73a4bc70a2786bd3dd2c.jpg[/t] Will have to look into new animations, the placement of the left hand hurts my soul.

But how does it look while in power armor?
But how does it look while in power armor?
I'll take a shot later, the PA gloves cover a lot of the gun so I wanted a clear screenshot
And his thumb.
Unavoidable when you're working with that you got. Hopefully, animations can be debunked soon.
How do you sync yer Fallout Shelter on mobile/tablet to the one on PC? I saw one fella mention it like, but I don't see an option for it at all. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Thanks anyway
I meant third party from Beth I don't know if the program is shady or not
So someone added in sea creatures? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16915/?#
If it's anything like his Rad Spiders release it shouldn't be too bad, but unless he's repurposing a lot of animations that I just don't know about I can't imagine it looking great. Maybe he made all the animations himself with the tools that are out now, but if he did then he works pretty fast.
Speaking of which, I think we need more rad creatures, I mean where are the rad bats? Imagine a giant glowing rad bat, that would scare the hell out of me. Or the rad ants? I'd love to kill a giant ant, like the Antlions in HL2. Maybe some rad frogs, that would be funny. Like Battletoads funny.
I think radiated ants are in fallout 3 aren't they [editline]29th July 2016[/editline] speaking of the lack of ants, its a shame there's no antagonizer since there was a mechanist
Rad beetles the size of brahmin always trying to ram the shit out of you.
;)

Looks like radbats would've been seen in Quincy Quarries at one point, too; it doesn't say why they didn't go ahead on them but I'm guessing they couldn't get the flying right.
I didn't realize the water pump in Vault 88 was a working water pump, I placed one next to it :v:
So just went through and repacked all of the original FO4 base textures with an optimization pack that halves the resolution of most of them (fucking 4k for a door? what the fuck bethesda) as I was getting around 10~15fps more with it in loose format but the loading times were beyond stupid because of it being loose files, this is the result of the repacking. [t]http://horobox.co.uk/u/reag/2016-07-29_19-33-50.png[/t] Fuck me.

It doesn't give a damn about INI settings or archive invalidation or anything else, it just absolutely refuses. Which is why even though I've decided my HUD configuration is retarded and I want to go back to vanilla, I haven't done it yet, because I don't want to have to fuck with BA2 archive managers again.

It's HUGE. TOO HUGE. And look at the hand, how the gun isn't falling because of the long barrel? It's ridiculously huge as much as the gauss rifle. And the hugeness of the weapon isnt even represented in the first person view, that i personally find bad too. It's a matters of animation i guess, so you should loook into new animation.
