So is there anything anyone can find wrong with the patch I made, or did I nail it pretty well the first go?
:saddowns:
Christ, I'm just under 100 mods installed, and the majority of mods I have are gameplay tweaks and texture shit, I haven't really added a great deal of content to the game.
:saddowns:
Reinstalling shit like this is why I hesitate when I feel like playing Bethesda games again.
merge some fool
Love to but theres nothing solid for FO4 guidewise to do it.
Love to but theres nothing solid for FO4 guidewise to do it.
Merge them all, let Todd sort them out.
Made the interior for the main junk in a box store feel more used. The extra scavenging stations mod is going to help this feel more busy. My only complaint is I wish there was a smaller marque sign holder you could use. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16349584/fallout%204/377160_20160801181559_1.png[/t]
What salt ? I'm just stating what happened back in 2008. People railed on the game for everything it had to offer and only stopped when Skyrim came out due to the weird effect Bethesda has on people, wherein every new release gets ripped apart and the previous release suddenly becomes more appreciated or not as poorly considered.
All that is just your confirmation bias talking, amigo. If this phenomenon happens at all, which I doubt, it's not because people are tsudere for Bethesda, it's because each new Bethesda release makes certain elements of the game consistently worse, which makes their previous missteps simply look less bad by comparison.
Woah how'd you get the store like that?
Modpos like 5,000,000 times.
Woah how'd you get the store like that?
Used the barn structure stuff to come up with a general layout. I did not like how it originally looked so I tore it down and this is pretty much the final look. Mods I am using to help are. Homemaker - Expanded Settlements Housekeeping - Scavenging Deluxe Place Anywhere Gruffydd's Signs and posters and Signs of the Times. Don't know if I actually need both as mod descriptions was unclear. The little room where the shop counter is was done by using two half barn walls moved upwards with the numpad thanks to Place Anywhere, some side wall thingy from structure > wood and then the trader shop was moved into position. Those boxes and items are all loose junk that I just randomly chucked into. Hope I explained it clearly.
Lol, you're buying Fusion Cores?
I buy everything I see thats useful, plus I "recharge" any cores I see then sell them on later for easy money. On top of the water purification, massive trade network of stores and the 2 dedicated weed farms, fusion cores are my quick cash when needed method. :v:
What's wrong with buying fusion cores I have like 5 giant purifiers and sell people like 100 water bottles at a time to balance out anything I want that's expensive
Because the game pretty much just hands them to you, like I opened up a container and found 5 of them.
Honestly wish there was some mod where a random raider could sneak up on you and steal a random amount of caps.
Anyone here familiar with the process of packing TOP up into .ba2's? I tried to do it myself but my command window just yells obscenities at me.
Anyone here familiar with the process of packing TOP up into .ba2's?
Makes sense but I get the same error, it just lists the path for folder 2 and says it's "is not recognized as an internal or external command"
Your paths might be borked, since robocopy is supposed to be in System32. To fix this, check this guide on Environmental Variables out.
Ok yeah I dunno really, all I did was add the extra space and then everything worked fine after that. v:v:v
What would the impact be if instead of just being "go to this settlement to have them send you to a random dungeon" eah time the Minutemen send you on a quest it is instead you playing The Magnificent Seven Samurai each time you come to a settlement for them. Like, Preston says "Oberland Station is being extorted for their crops, bring these guns to them" and hands you 2 random guns and 2 chestpieces of armour for the Oberland Sisters. You go there and they ask like before "Did the Minutemen send you?" and you say yes, and that opens up the share items screen and you can choose what gun you give them (maybe you're kind of a scumbag and want the nice gun Preston gave you. You know, a choice) and they let you set up a few defenses, more so if you bring your own supplies. Then the raiders come looking for an easy score of chems, water, and food but instead blundering into your ambush. A settlement attack plays out, and the raiders lose because the settlers are bloody immortal. They thank you and you go back to Preston calling it a job well done. If you really need the player to get the location of a dungeon, the raiders can have a note with the location their home base. Just wondering, what would that would do for the gameplay, more fun? Less fun? Just different? What about the Minutemen, positive? Negative? More or less a force for chivalry? What about it tying into the temes of the story and gameplay, like rebuilding humanity or the everlasting drive for conflict? Just gimmie some feedback.
Because the game pretty much just hands them to you, like I opened up a container and found 5 of them.
Yeah I find the canisters too, like all ammo types. What difference does it make
That it's a waste of money, that's the difference.
That it's a waste of money, that's the difference.
There ain't no hoes in the Commonwealth what the hell else is there worth your money?
Because the game pretty much just hands them to you, like I opened up a container and found 5 of them.
In all my time playing, I've probably used up like 3 fusion cores. Then again, I don't really use my power armor very often. Think I have like 600 something cores :v:
There ain't no hoes in the Commonwealth what the hell else is there worth your money?
Ammo that isn't Fusion Cores, building materials, unique armour and weapons, SW4G.
Ammo that isn't Fusion Cores, building materials, unique armour and weapons, SW4G.
You need to buy those? I bet you're not even 1 below overencumberance after leaving any dungeon.
Well I don't wear anything and I just use Bladed Knuckles all the time.
