Doesn't really show how the VR aspect ties into it though.
Is it PS4 exclusive?
Oh, nope. Also PC.
It looks super good. For some reason that flying robot reminds me of the robot from Prometheus. Looks super gritty and fun.

Indeed. I too think all future VR devices should be shaped like ears of corn.

Typing from the dk2, virtual desktop ahoy! All of a sudden I'm really pleased that I bought a keyboard with a physical volume slider.
I'm late to the party but I expect you to die is some neat stuff. Love the little touches like the cigar and window-shooting suicide and the developer's business card on the menu briefcase.
edit: mythos of the world axis is hella nauseating but a really cool experience all the same.

Mixed messages going around though. Not the first time they'd use "exclusive" in terms of "console exclusive".
Also no way the PS4 is going to achieve the same graphical fidelity in VR as that demo they showed last year running on a Titan X.

The problem is, how to get people to try it so they want to buy it.
By people showing the device to friends, like old times.
It will spread like wildcancer

Also Crytek's game specifically:

This was the game I got to try when there was a public VR demo. It was amazing and really immersive but I'm not sure how the gameplay is going to be. Seems more like an interactive movie.

I'm not arguing about whether what we've seen is PC rendered or not. But the fact that Crytek's official website says they are going "to Bring Robinson: The Journey Exclusively to PlayStation VR" does not leave much room for interpretation.

Hm, love'd to try that for myself. Seems like it'd be a bit weird though.

use this to easily play outdated demos
I actually a lot of trouble with Windows 10, went back to Win8.1 instead. That endless boot I got stuck in, really fucked my system up.
After an agonizing week of reinstalling windows 10 than 8. I finally got rift and E:D to work.
All to play for an hour before the drifting got to me.
Though E:D does great with a rift and hotas.
E:D not being prepared for the changes in oculus after all this time is completely ridiculous
the game sells on VR promises while offering little (but well designed) product to show, yet takes forever with all its sales money to produce updates
also, fyi, the oculus switcher won't work on windows 8.1 on newer nvidia cards/drivers

I can forgive E:D because the devs have said time and again that VR support will only be a top priority when consumer headsets are released.

How fuckin uncomfortable with sex do you have to be for the mere mention of masturbation to gross you out lmao
Don't think this was posted here yet, but Oculus Social alpha released on GearVR:

Some interesting first experiences described in this comment thread on Reddit:

Social apps have a lot of potential.
My Note 5 is aching for the new Gear VR to come out... Hopefully it comes out before black friday, and not ON black friday. I'd like to have it in the next couple of weeks...

Dreams has been confirmed to get PSVR support. Great news.
Is VR Focus the only one with John Wick VR impressions? Where are the others? And what about the supposed new Vive content they were supposed to announce? PGW is already under way. This is getting tiresome.

Looks like the new Vive content might actually be the John Wick demo. Oh well.

A kid brought the Gear VR with his Galaxy S6 Edge to school today. In the library, I got to try it out for the first time. I'd never actually put on any kind of VR headset before this, and I was immediately impressed. I felt like I was there instantly. Total immersion, for me at least. It was the thing where you're in a nice living room and you can watch Netflix. I started watching Planet Earth. Even though it only lasted a few minutes, it was a really great experience, and now that I've finally tried out a VR headset and seen how it really is...I don't think I can go without buying one. It was just too incredible and fun.
I don't have a great computer, and my last attempt at building one didn't go so well. So I'm planning on buying one of the VR-ready machines listed on the website when they're released.
What do you guys think would be the best choice, between Alienware, ASUS, and Dell?

Alienware is almost universally overpriced
I don't know about Dell, but I've got an ASUS gaming laptop that has performed flawlessly for the last four years
[editline]31st October 2015[/editline]
with excellent cooling design
You should look on amazon and just buy one that's an open package. You could save a few hundred bucks.
