yeah i didn't get the dk2 because of this, a final price of $600 (plus customs so $900) just isn't worth it
What was the shipping for domestic orders? I can't imagine it would have been more than $20-30.
DK2 with shipping + tax included was $500 to Finland, which was something like 370€ back when the euro wasn't complete shit.

You're close enough to the mark that you should be fine.
that's actually a concerning score. I've got a 780ti which is comparable to the 970 I think, and an i7-970 which rates 5.6 next to his processor at 8.6 on cpuboss. Is that test mostly gpu based?
speaking of which, bit the bullet and went for the 6700k
and a motherboard to fit it
and a nice cooling unit
and a case that doesn't weigh 50 lbs and can also mount said cooling unit's 240mm radiator

2 GPU tests, 1 physics test, and 1 combined test provide the results. Dunno how score is rated... perhaps a mix of FPS and frametimes.
tbh no one should trust a benchmark like that purely as a measure of power
it'll give you a general sense but not all games run the same way, and it won't be as optimized for some systems
at best it just gives a relative idea oh how strong a pc is

I'd say you will be fine, the i7-3770K outweights the i5-4590 required for the Rift. Could simply be background applications slowing it down.
