It feels incredible to hold.
headset specs done, time for input methinks
Not a whole lot of new stuff. Hopefully more on this "Constellation tracking" system soon.
fuck fuck fuck here we go
Gamepad input at least....
[editline]11th June 2015[/editline]
Wireless xbox one controller included....
oh my fuck it's just an xbox 1 controller hahahaha
OH GOD PHIL SPENCER IS ON STAGE.
xbox WHAT
MICROSOFT PARTNERSHIP.
Well that was unexpected... What did they do with Carbon again?
what in the fuck oculus
I guess that's why MS didn't really do much with VR up till now.
Rift will work natively with W10
did NOT see this coming
Would be pretty good if Windows 10 supported VR from its core right?
I guess they needed to compete with the Sony one.
Ah man, this is disappointing. Looks like I'm going for a Vive then - lighthouse and the VR controllers are too much to pass up.
Xbox One stream to the Oculus x.x
oxbox
It's sorta cool I guess. That was an awkwardly short demo.
Oh it crashed hahaha
Haha it's just a virtual cinema to stream games to. How disappointing.
A virtual big-screen TV for Xbox One games? That's... actually pretty cool. Who hasn't wanted to play games in a theater? I've done that, it's pretty cool, and it's a great first step to the VR Multiverse concept.
Also, for what it's worth, the Xbox One pad is pretty great. Maybe not the best for VR, but it's a good, solid controller.
EDIT: I've also just realized, this is basically a way to have an affordable home theater. I can finally have a theater in my apartment.

That doesnt require VR at all though, cinema HMDs have been around forever
First party launch games coming up.

While that's true, it doesn't really immerse you into the game.

OMG STAR WARS
False alarm, he just used a Star Wars reference.
Brendan mentioned 'other things' to do with input, if they announce a proper input solution after that microsoft debacle, the guy who ordered the announcements needs firing
They mentioned at the beginning that the Constellation system would work with other objects as well
So keep your hats on and wait until they talk about that soon

Yeah, not arguing that. I'm excited that I'm finally able to have a home theater in my apartment, though.
they're going to announce some made for VR games, including EVE Valkyrie

There's some stuff for DK2 out that lets you sit in a theater and watch whatever you can see on your desktop. It's the virtual desktop thing.
