Not until you find out there is a platform below where you threw him.
Then I just go down there, pick him up, and throw him again.
hand of jehuty is the ultimate humiliating tool
I just cqc them and teleport their bodies around as they are helpless
Swiggity swooty Jehuty comin for dat booty.

Shoot him in the dick with the water pistol so it looks like he peed his pants for added humiliation.
As you progress through main missions soldiers across the game get better stats, keep doing them and you'll start seeing S-rankers regularly
I've finished the game and have high heroism, but I've maybe seen an S ranked soldier maybe once or twice.
So my friend and I were discussing MGSV and we were arguing about is this better and worse than previous ones,
I was generally very pleased with it
he, on the other hand, was dissappointed
[sp]In the end he managed to convince me that it's worse than previous parts because there was no WOW-boss scene like in any other MGS, like that Shagohod scene in MGS3 that basically makes the whole game awesome, or REX vs RAY in MGS4. Shit, even PW had fight vs ZEKE where you can fight it barehanded (which is totally unrealistic but it's awesome)
A lot of build-up with no catarsis.
Openworld is a one big wasted opportunity though, too empty and side-ops too repetitive.[/sp]
Gameplay is a lot better than in previous parts though.
Has anyone figured out how to get the Lisa decoy yet?

I agree. It's a great game to be sure, but you can tell where the Konami troubles started.
I really hope when MGO actually comes out that the customization for the avatar is expanded on, there's only like 3(4 if you count bald) hairstyles and no female option.
Assuming that's what the avatar is for anyway.

If there's no female option available for MGO, that's a dealbreaker.
So, I just got the bandana head gear, and surprisingly enough, Snake looks a lot more like classic Snake now. Almost to the point where you could see David Hayter's voice coming from him.
He even has the mullet back and everything, for those who don't dig the pony tail.
And hell, with the sneaking suit, it feels like I'm playing as Solid Snake now.

I hope MGO ties your skills etc to your profile not a character you're stuck with
I wanna play as different soldiers all the time tbh

venom looks like a fucking doofus with the bandana lol
Ending spoilers: [sp]About everything that venom/snake that is said in that tape. what if Venom really is Big boss, and the unreliable narrator is him, who like huey, is trying to cover up his revenge? IE, Venom actually shot the children/killed quiet/did horrible horrible things, and justified it by convincing himself he's not that person who did it, instead it was "Venom." The reason he smashes the mirror after it plays is another piece to the puzzle. He didn't want to be reminded of what it means to take revenge, especially after all the torture/grief. Ocelot, instead of hypnotizing himself, hypnotizes venom, and the "break" is after that tape plays. this is why it always pans out and shows different things than what we see in the trailer, because venom convinces himself that he didn't do those things, much like he convinces himself that paz is still alive. When the tape plays, we see venom turn into big boss in more ways than one.[/sp]
How the hell was I able to s-rank the [sp]subsistence[/sp] version without taking prisoners while the game seems absolutely set on not giving me one in the normal version?

climb up the crack, shoot all three with a rocket launcher, run away
easy s rank
I just fucking s-ranked it in under two minutes by flying in and taking them all out with the helicopter minigun how did I never think of this before

I'm stealing this method
Then I guess it is heroism after all, I'm at 364,000 right now
Holy fuck. How did you get your heroism up so high? I'm only at 97,290

What mission are you on?
I was on about 200k by mission 25.

That's.... abnormal I think? I didn't hit 200k until shortly after I started replaying for S ranks.

Did you accidentally gm_construct
So, I'm confused and have a few questions. These are also questions that have spoilers from other MG games. I'm still really confused and I might have some facts wrong.
[sp]So basically this MSF Medic is Boss for your playthrough and Eli is Liquid? Where's Boss during all this? Where's Solid? So, all this happens and after MGS5 this fake boss orchestrates the outer heaven deal and creates the nukes and all that shit and gets killed by solid, but the real boss comes back after they give Zanzibar their freedom? So that Boss was fake boss and that's how he survived. He actually didn't survive at all and real boss went and fixed his crazy ass doubles shit up stopping OH from blowing up and saving everyone else and then he took back his boys and freed up Zanzibar? Or maybe he just came back after Zanzibar and the fake boss did that?[/sp]
That just happened.

I should say that my questions are kinda out there, and I'm kinda hazey on the story

Is the big update fake?
Is the big update fake?
yes
After starting the game up again from scratch on PC since Tuesday [sp]and as previous posts have indicated, using a Trainer for the sake of catching up,[/sp] i've been more lax about collecting shittons of troops and doing side-ops left and right but honestly, now that I know the game's methods, it's a lot easier going in the second time around. Gear limitations early on still suck but there's plenty of workarounds.
Of course, I probably shouldn't be packing a non-lethal bolt-action sniper rifle that tears through [sp]Quiet's[/sp] stamina like wet paper, a non-lethal UN-ARC, and a fully upgraded WU.S Pistol. The fun of dicking around with this game's options and being a non-lethal one man army of rubber bullets and tranquilizers.
Is the big update fake?
I guess we won't know until the timer counts down, so 15~ hours from now.
An interesting thing I'll note, there's actually a conversation the Russians have about Nineteen Eighty-four in the game, I heard it around the Yakho Oboo Supply Outpost.

[sp]venom snake in mgs5 is the msf medic in ground zeroes that gets full face blasted by paz's vagina bomb.
"ishmael" was the real big boss, who went into hiding after the ambulance crashed thanks to ocelot.
eli is young liquid. solid snake is currently in the u.s.
big boss was in hiding the entire game and later ended up leading solid snake through outer heaven to kill venom snake, and after outer heaven gets bombarded the fuck out of, big boss swoops in and rescues the survivors, making zanzibar land in mg2.[/sp]
