Does anyone know if you can disable the "logging into server" prompt it does before the game starts? Due to weird internet issues with my PS4, I'm usually left waiting 10 to 15 minutes before I get to play each time, only to be told it couldn't connect. It's really annoying and I hardly have enough time to play as is.
I just wanna know when the convo between [sp] kaz and ocelot after the credits too place[/sp]
I have to guess that it took place [sp]at the very end of the game, otherwise the whole shit with Miller doing a DNA test on Eli would make fuck all sense, as he know it would come up saying he's not his son.[/sp]
I just finished Mission 19 (or 20) [sp]Devil's House, holy fuck that was sinister.[/sp] Also I do actually like Big Boss being somewhat silent, I think his facial reactions add a lot to everything and I feel like it gives his words more weight as people care a ton about what he has to say, hell it makes it seem almost special when he does speak. I also really like how restrained he seems, especially evident when he's interacting with Chico, Quiet the African kids. Compare that to how he treats [sp]Huey[/sp] But it would've been nice if he spoke more, at least in the beginning of the game to set his mindset up more :v:
Its fine up to a certain point, then BB being silent makes literally no sense and you're shouting at the screen because he isn't reacting to some major shit in any real way.
Could use a little help if anybody knows what to do, potential spoilers in the end game ahead, only those who had mission 46, please. I really don't want to start all over again with all my progress just for this mission that have an urge to complete it: [sp]I've done pretty much all important side ops *like saving kids, save Quiet etc), and I keep doing those that are absolutely optional; all missions that had difficulty modifier up to 50, had the cutscenes of an exiled Emmerich and Eli hijacking Sahelanthropus and his allied kid's taking heli's pilots as a hostage for their own needs, with the completion of 60% at the moment, I still have absolutely NO ACCESS to mission 46 and I really, really want that freacking jacket. Is it because of that infamous Quiet glitch that got discovered a while ago or I am missing something?[/sp]
So uh, (Quiet spoilers) [sp]why is Quiet still in the brig after she leaves you?[/sp]
Witcher 3 ends up going to the circle on your map, use your witcher senses, go to red thing, red thing leads to trail, kill thing at end of trail. rinse and repeat. love TW3 but yeah, it is fairly repetitive. and idk, I like the side-ops in mgsv :c
Not like that :v:, I mean most side quests in The Witcher 3, while really repetitive do have a story of their own at least which was kinda cool.
The ranking system works the same as Hotline Miami. There's a certain amount needed for Rank A, you do anything under that and you get progressively worse ranks. Do a certain amount above (probably two to three times the amount) and you get Rank S. It's not like Platinum Games and most Japanese Beat 'Em Ups where in order to get a S rank you actually need to perform certain tasks like never getting hit along with playing fast and well.
Can definitely confirm this, especially after watching Vinny (streamer for those who don't know) take like 45 minutes doing the mission to rescue Malak and still manage to get an S Rank.
[sp]Code Talker[/sp] talks so damn slow I just end up fast-forwarding through all his tapes.
The best part is that he easily has some of the longest tapes in the game. I mean he has a tape where he's talking to [sp]Skull Face[/sp] for 10 minutes. 10 fucking minutes. [sp]And the tape is just silly as well, because it apparently reveals that Code Talker gets Matrix-esque powers from his parasites when you piss him off. Just imagine an over 100 year old man jumping around.[/sp] Also, 2 complains I have with all of the tapes I've heard from him so far. First is some of the subtitles don't match what he's saying at all when you're listening, second his that his tapes with [sp]Skull Face[/sp] don't have the sort of cassette tape audio filter that the others have.
[sp]That mission where you and quiet have to hold off against the tanks is hard as fuck i swear to god i cannot do it for the life of me, i should've killed quiet and i would've been better off.[/sp]
[sp]That mission where you and quiet have to hold off against the tanks is hard as fuck i swear to god i cannot do it for the life of me, i should've killed quiet and i would've been better off.[/sp]
That mission was the one where this game felt the most[sp] Peace Walkery. I had flashbacks of the final fight with PW.[/sp]
Just had this happen to me a little while ago. :v:
I just finished the game. In terms of actual gameplay, it was great. However, i still think that it's definitely the worst MGS game in terms of story, and the open world itself is completely lifeless and empty. The ending [sp] ruins Big Boss completely, as well as the parts of the game itself and the rest of the series. It makes little sense and there are so many unexplained things, not just with Venom Snake not really being Big Boss either. [/sp]
I like the "ending" [sp]with the twist that Venom is not Big Boss, in-fact I liked it a lot. What I absolutely dislike are the poorly connected cutscenes and missing story arcs. Storywise it's not even close to the quality of any Metal Gear game. I wanted to see more in the quality of Ground Zeroes or the Hospital intro.[/sp]
I'm on mission 31... and I see same missions as before but only a bit difficult. How many missions do I need to repeat to get through Chapter 2?
So uh, (Quiet spoilers) [sp]why is Quiet still in the brig after she leaves you?[/sp]
[sp]She's not. At least not for me...[/sp]
So I [sp]Put the buttefly as my emblem, only to find out now that means I can't play Mission 46? Does that also mean I cant play as my avatar and that I basically screwed myself?[/sp]
I'm on mission 31... and I see same missions as before but only a bit difficult. How many missions do I need to repeat to get through Chapter 2?
You don't need to complete any of them, they're optional.
imo open world was a mistake. It makes all the missions repetitive, you have to watch BB sit in a helicopter for a minute like 300 times, and you can't really do anything in free roam besides farm resources. EDIT: and it restricts the way cutscenes can be inserted
I don't think it's because It's open world, GTA V has a massive open world and doesn't have those problems. I know Los Santos has more opportunities for unique side missions and story but Kojima is crazy, he could figure something out if Konami wasn't focused on getting him out.
I'm on mission 31... and I see same missions as before but only a bit difficult. How many missions do I need to repeat to get through Chapter 2?
you're better off completing side ops unless you really want to repeat the missions
You don't need to complete any of them, they're optional.
Then how do I proceed further in the game?
So I [sp]Put the buttefly as my emblem, only to find out now that means I can't play Mission 46? Does that also mean I cant play as my avatar and that I basically screwed myself?[/sp]
[sp]I have the butterfly emblem and could do mission 46.[/sp]
Then how do I proceed further in the game?
Kaz or Ocelot should tell you about missions after a while next time you're in the ACC after being out in the field
[sp]She's not. At least not for me...[/sp]
butterfly logo?
Okay so I have a ton of questions story wise, including all the previous MG Games. [sp]What was the goal of Skull Face, Zero, Big Boss, Solidus, Liquid and The Patriots plan? Skull Face, Big Boss and the Patriots blend together considering it's all about war, I think Solidus was just trying to destroy the patriots by finding the guys who were the patriots before the AI happened, even tho they were dead and he was too late, no clue what Liquid wanted, probably just to kill Snake and Big Boss. Next question, what was the point of MG1? Venom Snake created Outer Heaven and Big Boss sent Solid Snake to rescue Gray Fox and to destroy Metal Gear. I think the point was to do that and to kill Venom Snake since he was done with his plan. And one last thing, the Will of the Boss, was it just to leave everything the fuck alone?[/sp] [editline]11th September 2015[/editline] OH also. [sp]Is Huey guilty of everything he was accused of?[/sp]
just like in tpp, a lot of the story is in the tapes in peace walker.
Yeah I didn't realize how much important stuff was in the tapes until I started to listen to them. I was wondering where Chico was but then I listened to the tapes and found out what happened. Did Kaz lose his limbs because of the end of GZ or because of the Skulls?
So, how does [sp]chapter two even work if you've killed Quiet back in her boss fight? If she's the English strain, wouldnt that be crisis averted without even thinking about it?[/sp]

Is there really no way to get custom music for the PS4? I love the soundtrack but it is decidedly missing some tears for fears and I can't accept that
My only problem with the lack of custom music on PS4 is that I can't play "100 miles and runnin" by NWA when me and D-Dog are running to a base a kilometer away because I'm too cheap to call in a jeep

The will was left vague, but i think it was just for world peace and no more government backstabbing of honest warriors. [/sp]
