That's just dumb.
Everyone knows that the towers housed the surviving leaders of the reich, including punished, liquid and old hitler. To cover up their relocation the buildings were demolished, so that people would think that hitler was finally dead.
ReichDie is still at large and the media refuses to talk about it.
Some say ReichDie's new cover is somewhere at Nintendo of America, but I doubt it.

Wait I thought he became a shitty youtuber who screams at indie horror games and happy wheels.
How many side ops do you have to do to unlock the last mission?
[sp]He let Medic become Venom so that he could form his own nation without the interference of Skullface or other members of Cipher- he's not giving up, he's sending out a diversion so that people are none the wiser. Sure, the game isn't about Big Boss becoming the evil baddie in MG1+2, but I can be okay with that with the explanations they gave. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised (in the revised canon) that it only looked like Big Boss was the villain, a la Solidus, when in actuality he wasn't a horrible individual (though still pretty crazy).[/sp]
[sp]He used him and later disposes of him. How is he not a baddie already?[/sp]
How many side ops do you have to do to unlock the last mission?
Only the ones marked as story critical with the yellow text I think.
episode 45 was a mistake
[sp]i sure do love dying in a single tank shell through a wall and restarting all the way from the beginning, how fun !
i am both screaming and dying and on fire and exploding it's great
and i can't even get the loadout screen so i have to call up my armor and my boom boom loadout every time i die[/sp]
Only the ones marked as story critical with the yellow text I think.
I already did all of those, I'm just doing the regular side ops now.
Why is episode 45 not unlocking for me?
Have you completed side op 150 ? [sp]Do you have a butterfly on your emblem ?[/sp]
I already did all of those, I'm just doing the regular side ops now.
You also need your base to be fully upgraded I think.
I already did all of those, I'm just doing the regular side ops now.
You gotta get your motherbase up to a highish level too if you haven't. Also try finishing some of the hard mode main missions and see if that works.
Well, regardless of what episode 51's NY's Twin Towers (9\11) meant - whether it's an simple placeholder art oversight or if it's truly a foreshadowing
In just 3 hours we will know that we either overthought and got hyped on empty space or we go into 'Kojima's elaborate ruse^tm'.
[sp]So, I contained the second infection in the quarantine platform, listened to the interrogation with Huey, but now I have no main story mission left and no important side ops.....what am I supposed to do?[/sp]
I just read that all issues with AMD CPUs have been fixed. That includes Phenom II X2 to X4. Too bad I have an X6. :suicide:
I give up, I will play this once I have a new PC.
i'm pretty sure its just "we went to new york"
the defining feature of pre-2001 new york was the wtc
tbh, as a not american my only image of new york was either statue of liberty or madison square garden. before 9/11 I never even heard about wtc
Why are so many people having trouble with mission 45? [sp]Change your position every time after shooting at one of the tanks, and you're basically safe. Worked for me.[/sp]
Tell me more about this.
1. Select the part you want on a gun that it can be equipped to & equip it to that gun.
2. Back out of that menu and go over to the gun you want to mod.
3. Choose a part with a red X box, left-click and left-click again.
The most important step is that you left-click when you select things. Pressing enter/space doesn't work.
Its fucking hilarious I've got a Pistol with 150 rounds in it and a sniper barrel.
watch any movie taking place in new york set before 2001 (or made before)
you'll always notice the 2 defining features of it's skyline
well, yeah I guess, but it's just another skyscraper to me like any other. dunno if it's just me lol but they doesn't really stand out imo
I've been following PowerPyx's S-rank guide on YouTube. It's incredibly helpful. You would be surprised how quickly and easily you can S-rank certain missions.
you should see what i mean
funny thing is, i only notice them now, after you specifically pointed them out
Honestly, the game's not worth actually finishing. [sp]Losing a buddy, and along with her an investment of hundreds of thousand of GMP gone towards weapons and outfits, only to get as a reward a few tapes and an ending that many considered subpar and unsatisfying because it wasn't the descent into hell we were promised[/sp] was just shitty.
Once you're past mission 31, the best course of action is to not do any additional story mission and to [sp]put a butterfly on your emblem and never touch it again.[/sp] There are no downsides to stopping here and there, and going forward means losing a lot more than what little closure you get is worth.
someone is salty about my opinion? wow

You don't need to [sp]loose quiet[/sp] to get the ending though. 46 is the proper ending really, with 45 being a side ending about a somewhat side character.

[sp]Quiet will still disappear for good after you do Mission 43, unless you know about the very specific butterfly emblem, and unlike all the other opportunities you have of losing staff, this one is permanent, which is a massive middle finger.[/sp]

If you [sp]lost Quiet[/sp] it's for good? Only was to get that back is to start new game?
If so, it's bullshit. I found [sp]Sniper Wolf's costume for Quiet[/sp] and now I cannot use it, ever?
Every source I've checked states Mission 45 is mandatory to unlock Mission 46, and you can only get Mission 45 by [sp]losing quiet and securing her in Side Op 150[/sp]
I can speak from experience. I have beaten Mission 46 and I have yet to do Mission 45 or anything related to it.
So, this is true, you cannot get MB coins by any other means other than pay to play?
Kinda sucks that you can't expand your FOBs without spending irl money.
Funny thing about that, there's really no reason to get a second FOB, I haven't even finished upgrading neither my FOB or MB and I'm close to hitting all the requirements for development
That coupled with the fact that none of the development projects come close to "Grade 8" leads me to believe that either there was a bunch of content cut or we're getting more equipment in the future, possibly linked to Online
why do you think this is real
This looks like a guy with a big dick jerking off next to his dog to me

Oh right I forget that people actually [sp]use quiet. I barely used her before I finished 46, and a requirement of unlocking 45 is having quiet at full bond level.[/sp]
i feel like the only one who was satisfied with the ending sans episode 51 being cut
You're not alone, I am too.
Well, now less so after debating over story of MGSV with my best friend but still satisfied.

Yep. [sp]Unless you wear a butterfly emblem BEFORE mission 43 and forever past that point, she will leave permanently.[/sp]
Also, mission 45 locks your save out of any other activity until it's completed. You can't leave, you can't restart with different gear, you can't come back to it later with better equipment. It's a fucking insult.
