Sometimes even after meeting the requirements the game takes forever to update main missions, so complete various objectives until ocelot or kaz give you a call.

As long as this is on your emblem, quiet will never leave and Side Op 150 will never become available.[/sp]

Mission 46 and the side op to start mission 45 unlocked at the same time for me. It definitely isn't required. Mission 46 wasn't an unsatisfactory ending, it was a satisfactory ending to an unsatisfactory story.

It would have been a satisfying end if it had proper build up. It just jumps from [sp]quarantine, then straight to body double without any connection between the two missions.[/sp]

It feels like we're missing half the story to me. Chapter 2, without the repeat missions, is only like 4 missions. All of chapter 3 is missing. The game feels like it has one act.

Venom being pissed at finding out he's not BB and wanting his revenge would have been a cool way to end it, and then Big Boss ordering Solid Snake to kill Venom would work in a slightly different way.[/sp]

There's lots of things I disliked, for sure ([sp]Quiet being removed for good is stupid (I never use her, but still stupid), and you can tell they really cut out a lot of content, and I kinda expected more from what we got.[/sp], but overall I'd argue that the game is still good.

Used cheat engine to get myself infinite ammo and no reload to do mission 45 easily. A tank still shot me through a wall and killed me instantly. It was the last tank in the entire mission.

Jehuty appeared only once as a boss and was too easy.

[sp]A Quiet Exit[/sp] is objectively a poorly designed mission. Prove me wrong.

Worst thing about Mission 45 is that it uses the retarded "you defeat the boss but it still kicks your ass in the cutscene" trope. It's the worst cop-out in the entire game.

What does it add to the rest of the series? [sp] We know nothing more about Big Boss. Other than Miller and somewhat Ocelot, there's no real character development for any of the other characters that are in the rest of the series. The Parasites give anyone super overpowered abilities (Teleporting, armour, smoke, rock throwing, and super speed, slowing down perception etc) that even the nanomachines didn't even come close to, which even makes the Cobra unit seem worse as their 'abilities' are just because of those parasites. There are very, very few actual important missions - most just involve random insignificant enemies. Skull Face lead nowhere important and several things are left unanswered. No interesting boss characters, no actual ending boss fight, the game just kind of suddenly ends, no seeing Big Boss change completely, none of the things Kojima mentioned (like stuff that he said could make him leave the industry) were there etc [/sp]
