Is there any way to skip the startup splash screens like a -skipintro or changing filenames? They're skippable but I'm not into clicking my mouse 20 times every time I start the game
I feel like the game would have worked better as a linear title. The open world is tacky and feels like a waste of time.

the repeat missions you start to get are a very bad idea. i dont know why they only give you specific levels to repeat with a hard difficulty when they could have just let you replay any mission on any given difficulty level
Man you really dislike this game don't you?
I love this game but he's sorta right. I would've loved 10 or so camp omega sized levels instead of 2 open world levels. you'd have to cut way down on side ops tho if you went that route
I feel like the game would have worked better as a linear title. The open world is tacky and feels like a waste of time.
Fuck. That. The open world makes MGSV pretty much the best stealth action game ever in my book.
Fuck. That. The open world makes MGSV pretty much the best stealth action game ever in my book.
my only issue with it is that I never felt like i was infiltrating like a shadow moses or a big facility. But I guess i can let that pass for being able to tackle a village from any angle and survey it first which is p. cool
How long did it take you guys to get to mission 46 after finishing mission 43? I feel like I'm missing something here.
You know, what bothers me the most about [sp]the ending[/sp] is that [sp]the villainous Big Boss doesn't have a defined name, appearance or identity whatsoever, because it had to tie in with MGO for whatever reason. They could've just kept the Medic's face from GZ, given him a name or not and it would've worked better canon-wise. It also would've helped to preserve the twist, without the character creation right in the game's intro.[/sp]
the whole point is [sp]big boss is you, the player[/sp]
Man you really dislike this game don't you?
I just spent 86 hours playing it, now that I'm done with it I'm starting to put down my general experience and feel about the game as it comes down. There's a lot of things in this game that disappointed me.
Yeah research time was always long when you get to rank 4-5 even PW had long as fuck times, still cant do PW custom because i run out of ammo.
what the fuck
There is no way to speed this shit up? I had to wait 2h 30min for a fucking Fulton.
you dont need open world to have missions where you infiltrate anything from any angle - as a matter of fact, in this game missions limit where exactly you can go on the map it'd make sense if there was anything worthwile to do in the open world - more stuff to find, maybe better customization, more vehicles but n, I'd rather have each mission made according to the mission maker, not having missionmakers adapt to whatever terrain generator threw out
Woo just finished mission 30. How do I get the cardboard boxes with the different posters on them?
Woo just finished mission 30. How do I get the cardboard boxes with the different posters on them?
when you select a box in your select wheel, press X or whatever button it tells you about to switch posters on your box
There is no way to speed this shit up? I had to wait 2h 30min for a fucking Fulton.
I have never seen a single weapon taking over 5 hours to complete. Expand your RnD Plattform!
There are some funny bugs in this game.
Fuck. That. The open world makes MGSV pretty much the best stealth action game ever in my book.
What makes this an excellent stealth game is the gameplay, because it works anywhere, thus allowing for simpler maps. What exactly does open world mechanics bring to that ? Not much. You have these little areas that are important and have side ops in them, and anything outside of these areas is either a blank void or small prefabricated outposts that are copy pasted here and there. You can retain the freedom of action and movement during missions without slapping open world on top of it. You can make every mission start with the player picking one of several entry points relatively far away from the actual location, and give each of these locations some form of advantage (vantage point, easier entry point, less guards, etc) and you'd retain the exact same gameplay with a better feel to the levels. That's how Ground Zeroes did it, and it worked better because they didn't have to worry about putting Camp Omega in a place that makes sense in relation to other camps and they didn't have to worry about making the area accessible from an open world framework. Also, putting all the levels in an open world area means you need to make the level sizes relative to the open world's size. If the locations were to be any bigger (which they should have been, for the most part), then the open world would have either been too small or would have had to be scaled up even more to the point of it being impossible to navigate without dying of boredom.
i enjoy how the open-world works for the stealth gameplay since you can approach from any angle, allowing for a lot more variety. one of GZ's biggest flaws was making it so you could only enter camp omega from two different entrances right next to each other
So, about costumes. [sp]Is the MGS3 sneaking suit actually in the game or is it only shown in the corrider scene from the trailer but not in-game?[/sp]
what the fuck
Like they said when they made comments about the mb coins/micro transactions, they're only there for the really hardcore fans that can wait for them :v:

The side ops all start you in different spots thus proving that it's possible to make missions with several entry points. The thing about the locations in TPP is that while you can (mostly) approach them from any angle, in reality you're limited to whatever angle you decided to have the ACC drop you from, and it's pretty much just a straight line to that location.
There are some funny bugs in this game.
Try alternating between A and D quickly as you move and watch what happens with the animation.
Fuck. That. The open world makes MGSV pretty much the best stealth action game ever in my book.
I honestly wouldn't call it a stealth game, direct combat is easy even against large numbers of enemies so there are no consequences for getting spotted. You even have support choppers and airstrikes. Stealth is only a self imposed challenge.
Some people found references to it in the game's code. But it seems like it's not obtainable in the game.
Shit, I really loved that one.
Like they said when they made comments about the mb coins/micro transactions, they're only there for the really hardcore fans that can wait for them :v:
you cant use MB coins to speed that up tho
