The AMR has made Riot Suits so much easier to deal with.
whoops my stealthy entrance into this compound has now turned into a potentially racist mass murder with one confusion between a flare grenade and a flare supply along with "civilisation (Bingo Bango Bongo)" by danny kaye being blared from the speakers from an unexpected helicopter

Is there any benefit of playing non-lethal other than missing the satisfaction of shooting an unconscious man in the face?
Is there any benefit of playing non-lethal other than missing the satisfaction of shooting an unconscious man in the face?
I think most of my suppressor wear on my sniper is from shooting people in the face that I knock out. It's so satisfying.
also it probably explains my snake horn
Man Mission 31 is one of the easiest yet most frustrating things I had to do. S ranked it after a number of tries but still.
holy shit, [sp]the truth tapes and what happened to Zero is fucking depressing[/sp]

Active Decoys are the best.
Insane levels of circlejerking
I thought DD was pretty broken until I got[sp]Quiet. Literally don't even have to do anything anymore, just tell her to Cover Me and every person will focus their attention on her while I run around the base doing what I needa do.[/sp] They're so focused on taking cover that I have literally walked within 5m of people, almost in front of them, and they don't care.
I'm surprised using DD or [sp]Quiet[/sp] doesn't restrict you to an A rank like some other equipment. Honestly using your buddies is far superior to a few uses of [sp]stealth camo[/sp], yet you're not punished for it.
because the game was designed around buddies. try doing some of the later missions without the dd-quiet bullshit, and you'll soon realize what the intention was

Ending spoilers
[sp]I'm pretty sure Quiet was made to be the best companion to pull more emotion that she left.[/sp]
I am convinced it is nigh impossible to stamina kill skulls without a huge amount of patience, at least with the tier of weapons i have at the moment.
So don't have any regrets about blasting them to smithereens.
there's a reason why there is a damage meter on tranq weapon stats, though
I find disagreeing to the Terms and Agreements when you start the game will force you to continue in offline mode, so I think this is the best way to avoid FOBs.
I don't need to fuck around with FOB shit if I want to see all the singleplayer content right?
In fact, can I safely just leave the game offline?

FOBs are incredibly useful even if you dont give a shit, it is basically a second motherbase and only every 2 days can someone steal from it and even then only if you are horrible
[editline]7th September 2015[/editline]
give it a few weeks, there is no meta or proper servers yet, in a month its probably going to be like playing dark souls without online mode

Yeah, I'm going to begin with FOBs pretty soon since I could really use the extra space; I just didn't feel like dealing with constant invaders and a probable hacker, but it's great to know there's a two day limit on this, so thanks for the info.
[editline]asdf[/editline]
Plus, the extended loading on the iDroid can get pretty fucking annoying while online, so I'm pretty conflicted about this.
it's also a REALLY good way to get GMP/resources
successful defenses are a huge GMP reward (especially supportive ones, add a bunch of random people as an ally PF and then you get notifications whenever they're invaded)
if you need resources invade someone's BCU Platform and fulton all their crates, then wormhole out. Or just finish the invasion, but if you wormhole out they can't invade you back.
Holy crap, I just noticed that the with the Fulton outfit for DD, if you use the ability it doesn't take Fultons from your supply. So if you deploy with DD in that outfit you effectively have unlimited Fultons.
I also just unlocked the plans for (gear spoilers)[sp]the wormhole Fulton[/sp], so shit is gonna get even more cray cray.

Just don't fail at defending someone else, it's almost an equally huge GMP loss.
I'm so frugal with my GMP that it's never been an issue for me. most of the time I'm at the 5 million cap cuz most of the development items are uninteresting or useless to me

wait how the hell do you get the fulton outfit
wait how the hell do you get the fulton outfit
I have no clue how I unlocked it sadly. It just popped up as a development item at one point. Maybe it has to do wiht number of times you've used the fulton? I normally fulton everything.
How do i get the [sp]huey exile[/sp] cutscene to unlock?? I've completed missions 1-44 and all of the urgent side ops and shit isn't happening
i need shit to happen
I keep capping the gmp limit. I don't know how.
Now I'm just developing things for the sake of spending money.
I keep capping the gmp limit. I don't know how.

yeah the 5mil limit is a bit low considering how inflated prices are for things
i somehow managed to max out my black carrots. i seriously don't know what to fucking do about that
Am I the only one who connects online, grab my daily reward and then enter offline mode?
Am I the only one who connects online, grab my daily reward and then enter offline mode?
I've only went online and created a fob for the increased troop deployments and motherbase size.
Huey full game spoils
[sp]I loved Huey's character in this and I can't put my finger on why, it is genuinely surprising just how much of a terrible person he is. Also love how ambiguous the game makes how much of a shitlord he was because he denies and lies about every detail; his expulsion is such a bitter sweet moment.[/sp]
MGS 2 Huey Spoilers
[sp]He later drowns himself in the pool and drags his 6 years old step daughter with him. The guy is self-centered idiot.[/sp]
I've only went online and created a fob for the increased troop deployments and motherbase size.
that's exactly what i did too. the constant going on and offline due to the poor connectivity to the overloaded servers is seriously gamebreaking. it fucked up my save so badly that i kept getting development prompts for shit I developed like four missions back and it kept forcing cutscenes. plus whenever I go online I lose gmp because someone evidently invaded my fob (???) and my rewards are stuck so I lose like 500,000 gmp every time I log in
thank god there's a disconnect button in the menu
FoB's are so damn defender sided its not even funny, im now realizing with expanded base sizes its impossible to win against a player unless theyre completely brain dead, there's only two ways to get between platforms so just plant a fuckton of claymores under the bridge and hang around up top looking for them.
If they try to sneak past down bellow they either blow up or make it very obvious where they are, or they try to cross above and you see them plain as day.
Also holy shit shotguns, just knock someone down with one blast and kill them with the second.
Defending is boring if you dont go for non lethal in order to toss them off into the water, which is hilarious.
I just got to Africa. Am I close to getting Quiet as a buddy or did I miss something?
